Im a brickmaster. Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Yes, Agents was my favorite theme! Granted I only had three sets and I never got the Volcano base I can't wait!!! Quote
DraikNova Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 The truck seems quite nice, now that I can see it clearly. The trailer's internal laboratory is quite detailed and the mech looks much better. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 These new agents sets look like a combination of : Tron(good guy vehicles)+James Bond(good guys outfits)+James Bond Jr.(over the top Villains). Quote
legofreak86 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Great to see these figures aren't still wearing the dark blue body suits from the original agents. I mean those were really cool but agents in suits work better for secret agents and it looks like they have the toys and rides to match! Love the whole black style of the truck as it seems more secret agent-y. Didn't get any of the last agents theme so these I will have to get. Can't wait! Quote
bekindsorewind Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 To me, these sets capture the appeal of the old Agents sets, so I think these sets do their job. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Not necessarily better, but another shot of the Agents sets. -Sci Quote
obsidianheart Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 It is black Anikin/Lloyd hair! Well, that's awkward. I was going to use that part to make Clutch Powers, but it looks like this guy will get it instead. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 It is black Anikin/Lloyd hair! Well, that's awkward. I was going to use that part to make Clutch Powers, but it looks like this guy will get it instead. That part is actually already out in that color in the Disney Ariel's Enchanted Kiss set. Nice to see it here, too, though. The tux direction of these figures is awesome. I love fancy figs. Quote
obsidianheart Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 That part is actually already out in that color in the Disney Ariel's Enchanted Kiss set. Yeah, I knew about Eric's hair. I was planning on grabbing one from Bricklink when they started showing up, but now I'll just skip it and get it on this guy (is that Jack Fury?) instead. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Don't want to be arrogant but can't those people take a proper photo of the sets?? Quote
PenPlays Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 My Godtfred! I can make a custom Clutch Powers! The more pics I see, the more I want the sets! Quote
DraikNova Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 It seems the Hurricane Heist set features a movable cockpit, along with a SW missile launcher. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 The Hurricane Hiest is by far my favorite. I love how it has the motor skills of Laveritus' Twin Blade. Quote
Pigbrick Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I wish there were better pictures of the figures. I want to take a better look at the villains Quote
Pulp Detective Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Indeed,I suppose we have wait 'till New York toy fair 16 days from now.Oh boy.... Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Tooooo loooonnnggggg! Just kidding I can wait! Quote
Echo Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Glad to see Agents return. I never got any of the originals because the heroes were a bit too gaudy for my taste, but this more subdued suit-based look is much better. Probable purchase. Quote
The_Creator Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Holy bricks… that truck is awesome. And it feels Tron-y too! :D Quote
bekindsorewind Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I still find it funny a certain LEGO website assumed nobody would like these sets because of their "random" designs or whatever, but it looks like the reception, for the most part, is pretty positive. The truck itself looks to be a big improvement over the first Agents HQ, and the sets themselves have a lot of variety in aesthetics and play features. They aren't all blues and blacks and we get some pretty fun minifigures with magenta and green hair, as well as some wacky supervillains. Quote
Mandate Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I'm pretty sure they're going for a more cyberpunk, TRON-ish style than a "super agents of modern day" approach, which, while incredibly fresh and new, really puts me off of it. I'll probably only get the smallest sets, a medium, and if lucky the HQ set. Quote

Agreed, I prefer the more 'realistic', if you can say that, older Agents range. These look a bit futuristic for my liking. But I'll hold judgement until we see some good quality pics. Quote
Zzz Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I am a huge Marvel / SW fan but this theme was my personal winner, seeing them all in person now. I am not so much into the truck, even if the interior is nice and it has lots of play features, mainly because it's black, not my favorite color if it's used too much. The smaller vehicles, though, especially the Tron-vehicle and the punching tank were just so great. Over the top villains like in a Metal Gear Solid game plus military vehicles is a win/win for me. The only thing I dislike is that they're wearing suits now, and being even more into action than before, this doesn't feel right and too much like a copy of the Playmobil agents. Also, I didn't get if there is a female agent, cause I would love to have one obviously. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I believe we will be getting a purple/pink haired female agent, as well as a female scientist, and a green haired villain (presumably Toxita) Agents seems to be doing very well in terms of female characters. Quote

SMC Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I think I will have to give these a miss, its not that I don't like them but I missed the first line and there is just too much out this year I want to start something new. Quote
