Slurpifier Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 This new theme is promising, and quite enticing too. I will definitely be picking up a few of the small sets, as my budget for this year is limited! Quote
Faefrost Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Having some unique hair colours are always welcomed! I have to admit, I'm really looking at getting that pink hair wig. It feels like it's been a while since we've gotten some oddly weird hair colours. There had to be some after Exo-Force, right? This isn't the most recent... correct? They show up in strange places. Exo-Force was the last time we saw a broad spectrum of odd hair colors. But you see some others in other themes and in the CMF's. Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Can anyone translate the US prices of these sets to UK prices? I really want to try and work out whether I can buy one of these on my birthday, along with my HF sets... :P Quote

PenPlays Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Of course, all of you could just look at the product catalog on the previous page that gives all of the US prices... Just to make it easy for y'all: 70160 Riverside Raid-$11.99 70161 Tremor Track Infiltration-$19.99 70162 Infearno Interception-$29.99 70163 Toxikita's Toxic Meltdown-$39.99 70164 Hurricane Heist-$69.99 70165 Ultra Agents Mission HQ-$99.99 Quote
PenPlays Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 (edited) So the HQ is £90?!? That's expensive . Most sets that size are that price usually. The first Agents HQ was that price. Similarly, the Galaxy Squad Galactic Titan was this price as well. It's always good to have consistency from TLG. At least this theme didn't get the same treatment as Chima and Ninjago this year...($120 for what!?!) Again it is consistent with Yester-years' sets (i.e. Epic Dragon Battle, Lion CHI Temple) Edited March 30, 2014 by Penkid11 Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 The Toxikita set is $40? Its now on the must buy list. Quote
DuckBricks Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Oh man -- So excited for the awesome car/buggy in the Infearneo Interception! For only $30 that is a must buy for me! Probably will be the first set I will get (and review) this summer ;) Quote

Probably will be the first set I will get (and review) this summer ;) I look foward to the review! Does anybody think that there will be a retailer exclusive set? Maybe a $35 set with a bigger vehicle for Max Burns, another agent and a villain with a small vehicle? A plane duel! Edited March 31, 2014 by HomerJSimpson Quote
DraikNova Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Damn, I was hoping that the Toxic Meltdown was in a slightly lower price range. I guess I might buy the Infearno Interception though. Quote
Dorayaki Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) It is black Anikin/Lloyd hair! Well, that's awkward. I was going to use that part to make Clutch Powers, but it looks like this guy will get it instead. Some others reminded me of this, and it might be more direct to wonder why TLG don't design sets based on the idea of Clutch Powers. Ultra Agents is a different canon from previous Agents, while Clutch Powers is also a different type of "agents". Not sure if TLG is going to do some storybranding for Ultra series, I'm inclined to see more from Team Clutch. Edited April 3, 2014 by Dorayaki Quote

He wasn't referenced in The LEGO Movie, and the last time anything was heard about him was the 4D films at LEGOland parks. Shame too, they could have utilised him in some way. Quote
Aanchir Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I think LEGO is probably done with Clutch Powers. He wasn't referenced in The LEGO Movie, and the last time anything was heard about him was the 4D films at LEGOland parks. Shame too, they could have utilised him in some way. Well, he was referenced in a LEGO Ninjago episode ("The Royal Blacksmiths"), but you're probably right that his time has essentially come and gone. I have a feeling that there might have been more media related to Clutch Powers if the original movie had sold better, since the storyline seemed to set up for further adventures. But the direct-to-DVD format probably didn't serve it as well as the broadcast format that helped make LEGO Ninjago such a knockout success. Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I'm hoping that the second "series" of Ultra Agents next year will feature villains from this year's lineup like Terabyte and Toxikita, but in cheaper sets. I'd also like to see more villains (like water and ice-themed villains) making an appearance, as well as a villain hideout. Oh, and I'd love to see whether they tie this theme with Alpha Team or Agents, using back-stories for the agents and the villains. Quote
obsidianheart Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Someone posted a close up of the base-element to Terabyte's gun, and all I can say is that I am excited for the possibilities that it can bring! Quote
Fritzy Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Are you referring to this? http://www.geeksugar.com/photo-gallery/34155528/Lego-Ultra-Agents-Mission-HQ Quote
Lyichir Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Are you referring to this? http://www.geeksugar...ents-Mission-HQ If so, there's no need to wait on Ultra Agents for that piece—it's already out in several of this year's Chima sets. Quote
Moebius118 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Wow I can't lie to you guys, I am indifferent to the actual sets but I am probably going to break the bank trying to get all the Ultra Agents minifigs. It's Agents and Alpha Team all over again for me. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 So, what are we looking at for availability? When do they hit shelves? Is there a chance there floating around out there now, besides on the Internet? Quote
Fritzy Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Doubtful. They hit shelves in August, so we still have a few months to go. Quote
