-Horizon- Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) Hey, can anyone tell if the female agent's hair is Dark Pink or Magenta? Edit: By Bricklink's Colors Edited May 1, 2014 by lego3364 Quote
Kalhiki Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Hooray! So glad we'll be seeing these sets released soon. Hopefully other themes will follow suit and be released around the same time. Quote
Algernon Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Wow these look great. The official pictures really do them justice. I'm pretty much in love with all of them, aside from the Helicopter set, which is decent but a bit lackluster for the comparison. The big truck isn't of much interest to me either... I had the original Agents version, and wound up selling it because I'm just not really into it. But holy damn, that Cyclone-walker thing looks incredible, and pretty much ALL of the smaller sets are must buys. Those exclusive figs... wow. Quote
Fritzy Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Well, this is exciting. Saw on Reddit that Ultra Agents sets are already showing up at Toys R Us! http://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/252dbc/agents_sets_are_at_toys_r_us/ http://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/252ve4/ultra_agents_in_toys_r_us_as_well_as_new_ninjago/ Quote
Drock Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Awesome! With an official date of June 1, it won't be long now. Now I just need to decide if I'm going to get Riverside/Toxikita or Tremor/Infearno for this first round. Hmmm decisions. Quote
just2good Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) These were at my Toys"R"Us, so I was able to pick up a few! First one I reviewed is Riverside Raid. This is a very good small set. The two minifigures are exclusive and have some very awesome printing, and the build itself looks great (well the jet ski does). Edited May 9, 2014 by just2good Quote
Fritzy Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I had a feeling I'd see a review from you over the next few days. Especially looking forward to reviews on any of the bigger sets (e.g., Hurricane Heist, Mission HQ) if you picked those up. I'm sure the Juniors Turtle Lair is in your queue too. ;) Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Great review Just2Good! I am now so convinced of getting this! Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I want this! I already did, but now even more! I look forward to more UA reviews from you! Quote

I'm sure the Juniors Turtle Lair is in your queue too. ;) Didn't get any of the bigger sets for UA just yet! However, City fans will be happy as I got a moderately big set for it. I'll be getting the Juniors sets (Turtle Lair, and the Fire Station) hopefully next week. Mine didn't have them just yet. Great review Just2Good! I am now so convinced of getting this! Thanks Chicken! I want this! I already did, but now even more! I look forward to more UA reviews from you! Next up is a review of an amazing UA set, so stay tuned! Thanks! Quote

And if you're planning on doing the Tremor Track Infiltration, that'd be just as great -- it's the only one of the small-/medium-scale I haven't made up my mind on. I'll look out for your Arctic set reviews too, just in case there's a surprise gem. Oh, and did you spot any GotG sets with this batch? Quote

I'll look out for your Arctic set reviews too, just in case there's a surprise gem. Oh, and did you spot any GotG sets with this batch? Alrighty! Tremor Track Infiltration is the awesome set I'm talking about. It's really REALLY good. Trust me. I have an Arctic one coming, but no GotG sets at TRU just yet. I think those will be released later this month with TLM sets. Thanks for the support! Quote
Fritzy Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Thank you for reviewing these sets. Now I'm intrigued! Quote
just2good Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 Thank you for reviewing these sets. Now I'm intrigued! Here it is... I really love this set. The two minifigures are great, especially Tremor. I love his exclusive moulded armor and outfit, which is just top notch. The vehicle itself is intriguing and pleasant looking! It's an excellent value, considering the amount of pieces you get. Quote
Maniac4Legos Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 These were at my Toys"R"Us, so I was able to pick up a few! First one I reviewed is Riverside Raid. This is a very good small set. The two minifigures are exclusive and have some very awesome printing, and the build itself looks great (well the jet ski does). Excellent finds, especially so early! IO saw Groove Bricks reported about this too but you're always one step ahead of the LEGO pack ;) Congrats buddy, soaring ever higher! Alrighty! Tremor Track Infiltration is the awesome set I'm talking about. It's really REALLY good. Trust me. I have an Arctic one coming, but no GotG sets at TRU just yet. I know you won't tell me the Arctic set yet, but I'm guessing snowmobile? How in the name of LEGO did you get these so early at Toys r Us? You're honestly Just2lucky!!! I should move to Florida! I wanted to buy some and surprise YOU for once with the reviews or just any video, but alas, I cannot....oh well, keep doing what you're doing! Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Great review once again! We both have opposite opinions on this set. I don't really like it because the parts that hold the moving hands on the tank are too skeletal. Even though that Tremor minifigure is very awesome! I might just have to buy him on Bricklink, but I just don't like this set at all. The vehicle colors also don't match Tremor. In my opinion this set is kind of bad the only thing that saves it for me is Tremor. Anyways, keep up the great reviews! Quote
Fritzy Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Wasn't expecting the review to show up tonight, so thank you for that! Personally, I'm still not sold on the set. I do think the value is there, and the minifigs are enticing (excellent, even, in the case of Tremor). But the vehicle... When you were moving it around, the device seemed a little flimsy, even though when you turn the knob it works without any noticeable problems. I think, too, that if the fists moved as the tank was in motion, that would've made for a bit more dimension. Since I'll be holding off on the Ultra Agents sets until June, hopefully other perspectives might help put it in a more compelling light. For now, it's not a must-have. Thanks again for the prompt review. The vehicle colors also don't match Tremor. That's an interesting proposition, giving the tank a silver sheen. Would doing so conflict with the colour palette across other vehicles in the line? Quote
obsidianheart Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Wanted to try my luck at going and picking one or two of these up tomorrow, but I just spent an embarrassing amount on Power Functions stuff on S@H for my son's birthday at the end of the month. Sadface. Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Great review! Can we expect an Infearno one soon? Quote
---Vertea--- Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Any chance you might put a classic skull in the armor? I'm curious to see what it'd look like. Quote
Kalhiki Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Out already, eh? Need to plan a TRU trip sometime. Really want to get the Infearno set. Quote
sithewok Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 With these showing up at TRU, how long until they are found at other outlets? (Closest TRU to me is nearly 500 miles...) Do Target and Walmart usually wait to stock until an aisle reset? And I assume the official Lego shop won't have them up until the 1st of June? Quote

Walmart, Target, andLEGO stores usually get them maybe 1-2 weeks before official release date, so you may find them soon Quote
Fritzy Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 And I assume the official Lego shop won't have them up until the 1st of June? They're already showing up in Canada. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) Tremor's vehicle reminds me of the final boss from Sonic 3. It's the arms I suppose. Edited May 10, 2014 by Agent Fusion Quote
