Faefrost Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 What if the Hooded Villain was a girl ? That would be different at least. We have not seen a ton of female villains in Lego unlicensed stuff. Claudette and Dynamite from Agents. Vampyres wife from Monster Fighters. Toxita here. The Witch from the Castle Fright Knights series. The Alien Queen CMF. And I think Alexis Sinister from Adventurers. Oh and the one female crook from this years City set. I'm not sure we can actually categorize the Zombie Bride as a villain. I mean all she is trying to do is have her nice wedding without some hammer wielding psycho in a truck driving through the middle of it. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Well, we had the Troll Sorceress and advent calendar Evil Witch from Castle 2007, and Spinlyn in Legends of Chima, but Toxikita's probably the most influential and powerful female villain LEGO has done. I'm thinking the HF is probably a stereotypical evil guy, but I think he may have a hidden history with the Ultra Agents, someone seeking revenge, and the dramatic reveal would show that they know who he is but didn't recognize him... or at least I'd like that. When would we get Wave 2? With the winter sets? Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) I noticed the use of the concept for Bane's drill tank when the sets came out! I thought it was a nice touch. Edited June 20, 2014 by Sir Brickalot Quote
Takanuinuva Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Does anyone else think. Infearno might be Dr. Inferno from the original Agents theme? Maybe something happened to him that turned him into a more firey villain. Its possible if we have Solomon Blaze from galaxy squad. I've actually had a better theory. Some of the new villains are the children of the past villains. Infearno is the son of Dr. Inferno and Clawdette Toxikita is the daughter of Dr.D.Zaster Psyclone is the son of Dollar Bill and Dyna-Mite (Psyclone in his set is stealing money so these two being his parents makes sense) I don't know if Tremor and Terabyte would have any connection to past Agents Villains Quote

BrickBuilder3213 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I can now see why Infearno Interception is the best set in this wave. Feature-heavy, a great build and great minifigures! My only gripe is the ejector seat function. It just doens't work for me. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I can see Toxikita being D. Zaster's daughter, but the other ones don't make too much sense. Dr. Inferno and co,'s theme was cyborg villains, not elemental connections. But it's possible, since we don't seem to have any connections yet, and minimal story, being a more situational action storyline. Anything goes! Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Out of all the Ultra Agents Villains ,which one is the most dangerous ? I think it would be Toxikita or Terabite. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 ^ I'd say Psyclone. That flying hurricane creating bank robbing mech thing is pretty dangerous, plus the look of Psyclone himself is terrifying. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 What if two different villains worked together? Infearno+Psyclone=Flaming death storms. Quote
Infernum Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 The manager at my local LEGO store said TLG sent all the stores a product description for Ultra Agents that connects Monster Fighters, Galaxy Squad, and Ultra Agents. It was a pretty cool story. Quote

Infernum Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Any chance we could get this product description? He just told me about it, but I can give you the gist of it. So, basically the monsters in Monster Fighters built a machine that was meant to blow up the sun with all the moonstones. However, they missed when they fired it, and ended up hitting/getting the attention of the planet that the bugs from Galaxy Squad lived on. The bugs then attacked Earth. Later on Earth, elemental villains were created by the moonstones, and the Ultra Agents were founded to fight them. Solomon Blaze, a member of Galaxy Squad was in charge of training Earth's new heroes. Hope that makes sense to everyone. Quote

Endgame Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) That's actually kind of unsettling - I only played a bit of the app, and it was clear that Tremor actually had a career and an outside life besides being a villain. If he is just some monster/artificial human, well... Edited June 22, 2014 by Endgame Quote
jamesster Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Later on Earth, elemental villains were created by the moonstones, and the Ultra Agents were founded to fight them. Wait, so, the villains in Ultra Agents were, uh... Created by the moonstones? What? Quote
sithewok Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Any idea when these sets should start appearing on shelves at outlets other than TRU/Lego stores? I've been hitting up my local Walmarts/Target/Kmart and no sign of them yet. Quote
obsidianheart Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Wait, so, the villains in Ultra Agents were, uh... Created by the moonstones? What? This is likely the Club Magazine Comic that has been long-running for a while now. They always transition themes by having the end of one theme link to the previous one. I dunno for sure though, I haven't gotten a Club Magazine since the Moonstones summoned the Galaxy Squad bugs (or was it the ADU bad guys? Maybe they were brought by the Pharaoh's Quest items, I forget) in the comic. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 That makes no sense. I'm disregarding it, and saying LEGO's trying too hard to connect their action themes. Connecting Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Conquest and Dino to then try to connect MF, GS, and UA? The moonstones have no relation to the villains at all, and Solomon Blaze's aging makes no sense either. And Tremor and Terabyte are the most human-like villains in the theme, plus Terabyte's not elemental. What???? Quote
obsidianheart Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 That makes no sense. I'm disregarding it, and saying LEGO's trying too hard to connect their action themes. Eh, it's for kids, so I can see why they do it. On the other hand, I am the biggest proponent to the idea that it's LEGO, so the official storylines are just as modifiable as the sets. Quote

8BrickMario Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I built P.U.P to the best of my ability. The midsection never really got a good view in the app, so I improvised using the SPIII dog's structure. I knew it didn't have the launcher so I used a 1x1 Technic brick as an adapter for the two studs on the droid bodies. I think it turned out well, and now he's in the HQ, Quote
