obsidianheart Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Been waiting to see if anyone would catch that. Hideo Kojima (creator of the Metal Gear series) is a big LEGO fan and it's nice to see the small inclusion in one of the sets for him. We'll see if anyone will post this on his twitter. But yes, the graphic designer and model designer of the Hurricane Heist are fans of the games and placed it in as a small reference. And yes obsidianheart, it's like what Endgame said, it's 140.15 Meryl's codex number. Totally missed the part of his post under the screencap. I'm a little embarrassed now. Quote
Drock Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Nice find, Endgame! I wouldn't have noticed since I'm not really a gamer, but it's cool that LEGO gave the nod. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I never thought LEGO would reference Metal Gear...cool find! Quote
Thelegomaster Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Which set should I buy: the X-1 Ninja Charger from Ninjago or the Infearno Interception? Edited June 30, 2014 by Thelegomaster Quote
Agent Fusion Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I would suggest Infearno. It's cheaper, the minifigures are better and there's more value for money. Quote
CompleteMadness Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 This theme looks pretty cool. Definatly not as good as the last though. Quote
Kalhiki Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Well this topic's been kinda dead, hasn't it? Anywho. Picked up Hurrican Heist. Very happy with it overall. It's a fun, unique look, and that really sits quite well with me. I always love new, creative designs. Plus, this really makes it stand out when compared to the rest of the sets. Only have one more set to get from Ultra Agents and that's Riverside Raid. Funny how the cheapest set is the last one I need to pick up. Quote
slugdude Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Is anyone gonna post some reviews for these sets? I'm tired of video reviews and would like some nice pics of the figs. Quote
just2good Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 Is anyone gonna post some reviews for these sets? I'm tired of video reviews and would like some nice pics of the figs. Understandable. I took some pics here of the first three sets. Quote
sithewok Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I still haven't seen any of these sets in stores yet. (I don't have a Lego store or Toys R Us within 400 or so miles.) I've gotten impatient and ordered the lower priced sets online, but I prefer buying sets in person if possible. Quote

AnthonyP301 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I also haven't seen the summer sets in stores yet, I've just been ordering from LEGO. I got Tremor Track Infiltration yesterday, and I love the figures . I already have RR and II and they're all great. I might be able to finally finish a theme, 1 wave (so far), no exclusives, and no polybags. I'll try to get all of them, even though I don't have too much money. I also like how the fists on Tremor's tank have the same knuckles as his fists from Chima. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I've seen them at the local LEGO store, but nowhere else. I picked up the Infearno Interception yesterday from there for part, but must say I'm finding myself unable to disassemble it. The figures are beautiful, and I absolutely love the car. It makes me want to pick up more from the wave, sadly, since I'm pretty much out of spending money for now. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I bought Riverside Raid yesterday, and I am certainly impressed. The build is easy enough (except for that fiddly piece of string), but the final product and parts are definitely worth the price. The two exclusive characters are of amazing quality, and the fact that they are exclusive makes it even better. Adam Acid is one of my favourite Minifigures of the whole year. I plan on picking up Tremor Track Infiltration soonish, and I will share my thoughts once I do. So far, this theme is a worthy successor to the original theme. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Finally picked up Riverside Raid and it's definitely worth the price of admission. The build is substantial, despite the low piece count, and the figures are great. If I'm impressed by the cheapest set in the range, I can't wait to see how the rest of the line wows me. Quote
sithewok Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Unfortunately, there are no bookstores or large drugstores that carry Lego near me, either - kind of in a retail black hole. Good to know that I'm not the only one that hasn't seen these in stores yet. Quote
Endgame Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Just need the Toxikita sets to complete the theme, huzzah! Quote
Amset-Rah Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Next one I hope to score is either Toxikita's set or Infearno's, given the high praise both have received. That and I can add myself to the "Let's make purist Ghost Rider" club with Infearno's headpiece. Quote

Besides being a great figure ina nd of himself, Infearno is oneof the best "parts pack" figs we have seen in years. The firey headpiece that can be used in soo many Super Hero MOC's and customs. His head alone is a great general use piece that works well in SciFi or Horror. He has wonderfully colored Torso and Legs (would make a great Sith) and that Galaxy Patrol trooper heavy armor piece in red Yeah that goes nicely with some GS red team squads to make some heavy troops. Agent Fusion Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I can't say I'm surprised. Great figure in a great set. Quote

Omega 8 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Is Max Burns' hair Dark Orange? As in is it exactly the same as Ron Weasley's? Quote
K-Nut Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) Is Max Burns' hair Dark Orange? As in is it exactly the same as Ron Weasley's? From what I can tell from looking at some RL pics, looks like it. Edited July 23, 2014 by K-Nut Quote
Amset-Rah Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Is Max Burns' hair Dark Orange? As in is it exactly the same as Ron Weasley's? I don't have a Ron to compare (Unless you mean the pre-fleshies HP sets), but I'd say it's similar, if not the same color/hair piece. On the topic of purist customs, you could use Max Burns' body/legs for Agent Coulson (At least if you want his Lego Marvel video game look) Quote
