So Mungus's mace halves aren't tr. light blue, what's the colour then? It's too light to be tr. medium blue, but too bluish to be tr clear..

it looks like its trans clear, but its kind of frosty looking. It couldn't be somehting like what the crystal takanuva mask was made of could it?

Dat wing flapping feature though. Very nice.

Sets are looking good; eagerly awaiting getting my hands on some of these.

Like wise, I'm more eager for this than I was all of IFB.

Be even more confused. Panthar does not have an accompanying minifigure at the moment.

Panthar is definitely one of the first I'll be getting. Probably after Fangar, but we'll have to see...

I'm definitely going for fangar first for that cape. *loves capes* Cloth is such a versatile element to MOC with. Its nice that Furno XL gave us a good whole cape last year and we're getting a tattered one this year. Now if they'd just do other colors than black.

Takanuva's special Avokhii was tr. clear mixed with glitter. This one features no glitter, and the colour definitely isn't tr. clear- it's looks similar, but it's got a bluish tint.

I really don't think it's the lightning.. Vardy's ice wings are in a similar colour..and it's much different than his tr. light blue bones.

According to, Bricklink there's a colour called tr. very light blue, but it's discounted since 2006. It's either clear (looking different due to lightning) or a whole new colour. It's really odd because at Toy Fair Nuremberg (where all sets were in their final versions) the mace halves were tr. light blue.

I'm getting Sir Fangar, Fluminox and Laval. I may get Cragger. I'm going to skip on Vardy, Mungus and Panthar. They each have parts I can use but I'll get them of Bricklink or order them from Lego.

Definitely getting Sir Fangar and Fluminox, but that's probably it. Their wing feature really reminds me of Nidhiki's claws/legs.

I made that same comparison on DA in my LoC update journal when someone commented about the video. Glad to see them harkening back to cool features like that.

Maybe. Guess we'll find out when we get the sets. *shrugs*

Welp.

This is one of the strangest things I've heard since HF going minifigure scale.

I can't help but feel there's more to this than "focusing on other product lines."

That makes no sense. We have finalized packaging and a recent video presenting the sets. Not to mention there are a bunch of new molds- you know how expensive new molds are. Oh, and they actually stepped up their game this year, with 7 sets instead of 6 (including two bigger ones)- that suggests the opposite of this decision, they put a lot of faith in these sets.

Maybe they are Europe-only?

To clarify, because I've heard some confusion on this elsewhere, this information comes from LEGO, and none of it is my opinion.

The LEGO Group is made up of many companies in different countries and regions, and each of those companies have different departments. Sometimes this makes communication within the group difficult, from what I've heard.

I reached out to several sources within the company, and one let me know they received a "vague answer" that the sets had been scrapped. As far as the person I talked to is aware, the sets will not be released, but there is always a chance that they do not have all of the information.

It's still really unclear. I've never seen anything like this before, as far as Lego is concerned.

Granted, most of the sets look lackluster but the transparent bones, the new chest armour and a few other pieces are FANTASTIC. Seeing these shafted would suck.

Maybe they are Europe-only?

This seems to be the case. They didn't appear in the catalog I saw, the NYTF, or the PR catalog for that toy fair. But, they're still listed on several European sites, and appeared in European catalogs and the European toy fairs as long as I know.

If they are Europe-only, then maybe there's a chance they'll be released elsewhere at a later date?

Either way, if it's true, that's really disappointing. I may have actually gotten some of these.

I refuse to believe this, and I will continue to do so, until I see a Lego employee officially comment on the matter.

Agreed. Front, care to tell anything you know about this?

You do know Andrew's source is a lego employee? It is not like bzpower is making it up.
