Athos Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Don't have any idea what this means... but its still news! Steve Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 13, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 13, 2007 But what I really want to know: Will Sean Connery play a role in the new Indy 4? Quote
captaintau Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Way more important question: is there potential for a LEGO theme in the Indy series? Quote
Stauder Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Kinda ol news to me...But a lego Indy theme? Hmmmmm Quote
Scouty Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Way more important question: is there potential for a LEGO theme in the Indy series? Yes! Is it going to happen: unfortunately not :-( . I think I know who this actor is. Quote
ApophisV Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Otherwise, TLC worked with both Lucas and Spielberg together in the past and present, so why not? There is even an Spielberg minifig! X-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 15, 2007 Governor Posted April 15, 2007 But what I really want to know: Will Sean Connery play a role in the new Indy 4? I've been keeping up with the latest news/rumours for Indy IV and Sir Connery stated that he may consider reprising the role of Henry Jones Senior if the script is good enough, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Don't have any idea what this means... but its still news! Shia LaBeouf has definitely been cast for Indiana Jones IV. Its even announced on the official Indiana Jones website so its definitely not a rumour. Quote
Jipay Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 A shame it took them so long... As real fan, I hope Ford to be at his best in this movie Quote
Wobo Ihi Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Kinda ol news to me...But a lego Indy theme? Hmmmmm What about the Johnny Thunder theme? It's quite Indiana Jones-ish to me. :-P Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 17, 2007 Governor Posted April 17, 2007 A shame it took them so long... As real fan, I hope Ford to be at his best in this movie He's in the gym right now getting into to shape just for you X-D Quote
David Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I hope there's a new line of the old Orient-style thing. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 15, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 15, 2007 Yesterday I've read some bad news in the newspaper. Sean Connery said that he likes his retirement and will not play a role in the new Indy movie. Also in the Internet Movie DataBase, he was part of the cast-list (rumored behind his name), but now he's removed. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 15, 2007 Governor Posted June 15, 2007 You only found out yesterday? Newspapers are soooo slow... Even the official Indiana Jones website posted that information on the 7th of June and you know how slow official websites are at reporting news... While the man with the hat is back, this time he's not bringing his Dad. Sean Connery, who retired from acting in 2005, said:"I get asked the question so often, I thought it best to make an announcement. I thought long and hard about it and if anything could have pulled me out of retirement it would have been an Indiana Jones film. I love working with Steven and George, and it goes without saying that it is an honor to have Harrison as my son. But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun. I, do however, have one bit of advice for Junior: Demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator! This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, 'Break a leg, everyone.' I'll see you on May 22, 2008, at the theater!" Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 15, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 15, 2007 (edited) You only found out yesterday? Newspapers are soooo slow... Jep, I found out yesterday. And it makes me really sad to hear this. Maybe the real reason is Sean Connery's physical condition. I can imagine that someone from 76 years old is not in top shape. Governor Mister Phes Posted June 15, 2007 Governor Posted June 15, 2007 76 is far too old! Its not like an 83 year old could have possibly played Count Dooku in Revenge of the Sith. Quote
Aredhel Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I would not think Connery is too old! For his 76 years he looks more young then others and he was and IS one of the greatest actors!!! -Aredhel Quote

Indeed, what Christopher Lee does is incredible. He's still making movies at this moment and he is 85 by now. No, Sean is just too lazy to make another movie :-( Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 15, 2007 Governor Posted June 15, 2007 [...]Retirement is just too damned much fun[...] But like you said he's still getting on in years Quote
