Sariel Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 It's not perfect, but then it's my first Ferrari: Tons of photos and some reading: http://sariel.pl/2014/01/ferrari-enzo/ I will also be publishing the gearbox instruction in a little while. Quote
tibivi Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Very nice, you captured the lines very good, Which ferraris are coming? :D Tibivi Quote
Boxerlego Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Nice work. Pneumatic doors are awesome! Music is great too. Quote
piterx Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 nice car and nice edit man! i really like the front part....but im not a big fan of sides expecially the rear wheel that looks oversized overall a good project ! Quote
Sariel Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 How much does it weigh? Just under 2 kilograms. Where is baggy motors ? In a bag, I guess? Quote
Polo-Freak Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Not perfect??? pffff Ist very very HOT Quote
Junpei Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I love it, and you even incorporated pneumatics into it! Very cool. But I think it needs baggy motors TLH Quote
Legoism Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Masterful. I'd hardly believe so many functions could fit underneath that bodywork. Love the detail of using a yellow half-pin on the sides behind the front wheels, where the Ferraris have a "shield" logo. Quote
Sariel Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 Love the detail of using a yellow half-pin on the sides behind the front wheels, where the Ferraris have a "shield" logo. Thanks, it's actually a round plate inserted into a pin hole. Quote
jantjeuh Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I prefer the styling of Lego's version, but yours has a ton more functionality (Lego's doesn't even have suspension). Well done. Quote
kevman Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Happy New Year! This is excellent. Very cool video and model. I have the 8653 and planned to RC it in a similar way that you did your Ford GT with RC buggy motor's receiver and steering. But this looks amazing! thank you for sharing your creations! Quote
jadedomg Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 As always your models amaze with how much you can get in the size and how good they look at the same time. Quote
legomuppet9 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 That door mechanism is amazing, and the lines look great IMO, easily recognisable as an Enzo Quote
Lakop Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Good job. I had a similar idea about car doors a while ago. I tried using the mini pneumatic on a much smaller model. it did not work. Your set up is something to consider in the future on larger models. H Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 A very nice attempt at a Ferrari. I personally feel there is a bit too much of a gap between the windscreen and the wheels. Quote
Sariel Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 The gearbox instruction is now available: http://sariel.pl/2014/01/enzo-gearbox/ I was going to call it a simple one, then realized it's 25 steps long. Quote
Polo-Freak Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Nice small Gearbox Only the Rearwheel Size is not so nice Quote
