ORCA Fighter *Folder, When public*

By the way, this is the C&C1/Renegade ORCA Fighter, not C&C3 or Tiberium Sun.

Eh? Like it?

People wanted color, so I added Dk. Grey. I like it. I *Still* may add decals to the fans, (And I did, to my Lt. Grey ones, but they wouldn't transfer to the DK. Grey fans. I'll have to go find the decals again.)

Those missiles were never trans-orange, by the way. Someone thought they were, but that was just a bad, low light pic.

Comparison shot with my new Wolverine...

10.jpg

The Vulcan, Missile pods, and fans come off. The fans are the only detachable item that were left on in this pic.

Now for the Wolverine:

That sticker is off color... Psh, you didn't notice.

wolv1.jpg

I need a new backdrop. That one has an Orange stain above the Wolverine's Shoulderplates.

wolv2.jpg

Probably a bit too bent over, but that can be adjusted.

wolv3.jpg

I wish they made a cross 2x1 flat plate peice, to cover up that ugly little stud grouping there.

Scale Shot.

So, what do you think?

These are phenomenal! Oooh, where to start.

Okay, the Orca. It's very well done. The propulsion system is ingenious and it looks very spacey and realistic. However can the canopy open? It doesn't look like it, but I want to be sure. Also try to get rid of the dark bley if you can. And the tale section looks a LITTLE fragile, but I can forgive that.

Now for the droid. It's great but it doesn't seem to have much maneuverability. Can it walk? It's really cute though, as I'm sure you intended. The antenna looks a bit weird or out of place though, IMO.

Fantastic work, and I can't wait to see more!

If i'm correct the Wolverine is a Hardsuit, not a droid.I might be wrong though.

I like these, especially the Orca fighter!

Er...maybe I'm just tired, but where would you be able to fit a fig in it?

You can't but the suit is on scale... I think this was the main achievement spotted. Those are nicely done, especially because they are on scale with each other. What are your next plans ? A tiberium field , :-P

I tried to use as little bley as possible... I only used about 3 pieces, I think. I've strengthened the aft fins in this photoshoot with several 1x1s with clips, connected to a 1x2 plate w/rail.

Yes, the Wolverine can walk. I don't remember if the antenna was in the game, but it seemed fitting when I built it. Thanks.

Yep, it's a hardsuit. Thanks.

Er...maybe I'm just tired, but where would you be able to fit a fig in it?

You can't. It's too small, unfortunately. But there's no easy way to get people in and out of it in the game... Just pretend there's a fig in it....

Perhaps, but that would require alot of those little transgreen crystals from Bricklink. I'm a bit short on cash, too. Perhaps a NOD Commando, or a buggy.

*slaps forehead*

C&C...Command and Conquer? Sorry, I just basically ignored that and figured it for a site. Makes more sense now. And especially if these are modeled after something, great job. It's always hard to capture something drawn in Lego

I think the antenna should be there. There's certainly one on the Titan (next project? ;-) )

Yes, the Wolverine is an exo-suit i don't think it would be possible to make a LEGO one since minifig's legs would have to fit in the suit's legs.

All in all, GOOD JOB *y*

Yes, a Titan is a definite possibility for my next project. I really like the Titan in Tiberium Sun... I've even calculated it's hight and built a scale for it out of legos. Alot shorter than you'd think... Thanks. Yeah, the Fig's legs would have to separate, like he was riding a horse.

I like them.

The only issue I see with the Orca is a construction durability issue. but this may be a matter of personal preference; depends if you plan on swooshing it or if its purely for display.

The engines appear to be held on by a single stud through a round 1*1 brick on a technic pin.

Which seems like it would break off easily during play.

You might consider replacing that with these two pieces: 32054.png

With the blue pin into the engine, and the long black pin into the hull.

Though depending on how the hull is currently set up, it might need slight modification to fil the long pin inside.

The tailfins are another possible issue; a clickhinge might be more solid here, since then there'd be a single brick with 2studs connecting to the fin as opposed to two bricks with 1stud each.

Great idea for MOCs *y*

Those are some quality models of what's in the game.

Are you going to build any Red Alert MOCs?

Like the Prism and Mirage Tank. *wub*

or the Magnetron

Those are two great creations. I myself prefer the Wolverine, small mechs I think are awesome. Not saying the Orca isn't excellent though, because it is! ^.^ Wonderful job. Keep up the good work.
