If you think six people are scum, and one of them actually turns out to be while the rest weren't, there's a good chance it was a happy accident. But, you know what you were thinking more than I do. I really couldn't figure it out.

I'd even like to apologize to you, Scuba, for losing my cool once or twice there. I'd like to work out whatever it is that gets us at each others throats in these games.

It's not a problem, for what it's worth, sorry if I made you lose your cool. I think it's mostly to do with stubborness and that kind of thing.

TPRU, thanks for a great game. Photography, sets, everything about it kept it interesting for me even though I died early on.

Congratulations to the scum team. It was actually pretty fun to get a glimpse at your plans through the dead writeboard and see how they played out. Overall, it was a good learning experience. Hopefully, it'll help me out in my next Mafia game.

Fine, def. If it makes your life complete, happy accident.

No, you had it right when I didn't PM you for 24 hours. It was because I was 'done talking.' My real life had zero impact on the fact that I was not timely. Your scumdar was totally on. With all the others you railroaded to the lynch, it was just a matter of a simple error. Don't let your pride get in the way. Your ego was not a factor this game. The mistakes were the happy accidents, I was lynched due to your skill  Sorry to pick a sensitive spot with you.

Thanks for a really well-hosted game TinyPies. :sweet: I loved the pictures and the story-telling.

Unfortunately, people's reaction to your particular playing style made it easy to leave you as a top suspect, despite being "investigated", something Rick never liked, why I was talking to you when you were so suspicious. I wrote a novel to explain that one away.

I found it suspicious you were contacting people you investigated so easily and were claiming to Corny and Nemo, both "unconfirmed". Your novel didn't explain that away. Unfortunately, there weren't a lot of secrets to hide from you anymore, so I just chatted along with you. I tried to make sure you didn't know the PR's targets, but it was easy for you to "kill around" the obvious targets for watching and protecting initially. After that, I knew I'd be the first PR you'd want to take out. I was hoping Corny would pick up on that when I was killed.

Sorry, Rick. You and DarkDragon are the ones I feel the worst about letting down.

Just when I was thinking about doubting Hinck, he handed over fhomess. It put me in a bad situation. What choice did we have but to test the investigation result? It was a good move for the scum. Was the pushing against LegoDad that fhomess did in thread all planned to make me agree that fhomess needed investigated when Hinck suggested it?

It wasn't quite that well planned. First, Hinck gave me the impression that you made the final choice of me as the investigation target. I tried pretty hard to play like I would as a townie. I really felt like the idea Jamesn's death was a SK kill to be too easily accepted, but I obviously knew differently.

Knowing I was investigated as scum, I needed to push on someone and I felt that if I were town, the person I would trust the least at that point would be the other person that knew Jamesn's role. LegoDad was also a convenient person for me to push on since I knew that my death would clear him whether or not I pushed on him. I also wanted to pick someone that made logical sense from what people knew that I knew. I felt like if I started on someone new, I'd clear a townie that way or rekindle suspicion on Bob or White Fang. It was really the safest person for me to attack.

After that, I knew I'd be the first PR you'd want to take out. I was hoping Corny would pick up on that when I was killed.

I thought my PMs with the people I claimed to were very natural. Scuba suggested contacting Nemo who was almost surely the Town blocker and it was Nemo who blabbed everything to me. And then moments later, so did Corny. Then, he immediately freaked out and started sending me PMs about who not to kill if I was Scum and I just decided to contact you both together and tell you to stop wasting your time suspecting me. I considered PMing you to see if I should investigate Corny but there was so much talk about why Corny was almost surely Town, I couldn't make it sound sincere. It sounded Scummy no matter how I worded it. This game was a lot of unsent PMs for me.

And we were actually going to kill you on the night you told Corny that if you died you were sure it meant I was Scum. I wanted to kill you anyway but we figured by process of elimination that Waterbrick Down was the serial killer and went for him instead. I did expect to have some suspicion thrown my way when you ended up dead but fhomess knew you were important so we had that to keep attention off of me.

On the dead writeboard, def referred to a conservative Scummy and that was me. We could've given a Town result on fhomess and tried to get another Townie lynched and shapeshifter the killer that night and won if we got the second kill. We didn't like the uncertainty. We wanted to have more control than that. It's just numbers at that point. We figured giving up fhomess would keep the Town suspicion off of me and give us the best run up to the end. If we hadn't investigated fhomess, we probably would've gone for Bob or Palathadric. I would've given a Scum result on either one and ridden the rest out. However, not giving a Scum investigation that night would've left me under a great deal of scrutiny and I just wanted that shifted off of me.

In Ragnarok I and EB Mafia II, I felt I flubbed my Scum game hard and ended up leaving the Scum team exposed in both. We were determined to cover those bases by suspecting each other and having fake PMs.

Rick and Corny are smart players and have become very adept at reading me. I tried to play off of how they caught me in the past to create enough doubt in their mind to deflect that suspicion onto others.

To be honest, we were lucky to have the gift of five dead Townies on Day Two. That did put us ahead. Town could've come back from that but it was a great motivator for us and we took advantage of it.

I'll post some more thoughts later on, but this was some of the most fun I've had hosting a game.

Is it later? Why was this the most fun you've had hosting? :cry_sad:

Keep talking about this game, I loved it.
