Mr Breden Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 We now have full control over Echo Base, the thing left to do before we can wrap up, go home, and celebrate life day, is to destroy all the files on the main computer, along with some military equipment, and a dead Rebel Fourth Wall Commentary: I've wanted to explore Snoted walls for a while and this was a good oportunity to do so. BEAVeR Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Wow, some really great builds are coming from the Empire! Yet, this one stands out to me. I like the serenity in this MOC. What do you need more if you have a ton of grill tiles? You have used them really good, and combined them with the right amount of regular tiles to create an interesting effect. The strings are a nice addition too, and are really well built into the wall. The dump-room (where the Rebel's rubbish is being incinerated!) looks good too, and complements the hallway nicely. All that trash looks great too. It seems like you had quite some fun there . That Life Day tree is just awesome. I didn't know they used Vader helmets to top of the tree, and Sauron eyes to adorn it! Still looking for advice? Try adding some more texture to the floor of the hallway. In some spots, you've already added a tiny amount of wedge plates. Maybe you could do that in more places. Also, the door that gives acces to the incinerating chamber is surrounded by some nice ice formations. You could use some curve- and slopepieces there to give it more of a robust look. Finally, maybe lay some tiles next to the grill tiles of the walkway as well, to give everything a sense of visual coherence. So really great already! Glad you're on the right side! But are you that low on funds, you have to advertise for your sponsor Shell ? Quote
Mr Breden Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Thank you BEAVeR, I'm glad you liked it, my supply of grill tiles is pretty small now though As for the Shell sponsoring, how do you think I got all those grill tiles Edited January 6, 2014 by Mr Breden Quote
LegoFjotten Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Nice build, the scene with the flamethrower and debris looks great! Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Any new Imperial trooper is always welcome. And a good builder is a big plus! You really cought the feel of the base right. The snotted walls came out fine and the storage room is also nice. I'd also sugest you include more images in the post. Linking to the external gallery might divert some users from checking the whole build. Also the images are a bit grainy and some details are hardly seen. I don't think you wan't to loose points on the presentation part on what looks like a really strong entry! Quote

Thank you, the reason I only added one picture to the thread was because I was posting from a tablet since my computer suddenly changed it's mind about being alive I will add the rest as soon as I get a new one, hopefully before judging begins. I agree that the pictures could have been better, sadly it's impossible for me to retake them now as I broke down the build a few minutes after I posted it Quote
