oteshima Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Hi all First post on Eurobricks! Seen many many MOC posts on here, but I'm just wondering how to make a simple RC technic car? Like a simple size chassic and no suspensions? Thanks for anyone who can help me out. Quote
jantjeuh Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Four wheels, one M motor (or servo, if you have one) for steering, one XL for drive, 1 receiver and 1 remote (made suitable for steering a la 9398's remote). Doesn't get much simpler than that ;-) Here's a simple RC racing MOC, but it requires a buggy motor: http://www.jurgenstechniccorner.com/redracecar.html Edited January 5, 2014 by jantjeuh Quote
Tamas Juhasz Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 @Oteshima: I made few days ago exactly what you need, also for someone from our LUG (Hunagrian Lego club), who asked about this type of technik car. If you need the instructions, send me your email adress in private message. Quote
oteshima Posted January 6, 2014 Author Posted January 6, 2014 @mbmc, I'm still too new to Eurobricks for the PM service I think. Just registered yesterday to ask for this but I do constantly reading the forum on Eurobricks, just never got round to making an account :P Quote
Tamas Juhasz Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Ok. I uploaded the instructions some days ago, here is the link: http://ge.tt/9dxJFaA1/v/0 Was made only from the 9398's parts. Not too fast, and I would make for myself (if I needed a similar vehicle) something better, but imho it's good to see the basics. Quote

Taha99 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Maybe you should use the lego rechargeable battery box to save weight Quote
Dion Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 You need very few pieces to build a car. Here one design i did some times ago. There are only two flaws: The battery box is on the side (which makes a bad weight distribution) and the steering isn't very precise.http://mocpages.com/moc.php/360844 Quote
Gee Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 There's some good stuff in my "Newbie" topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89364&st=0 Quote
