What if Sorrow and Karie take Siobhan and pick them up, and the rest of us go to the box, then we send off the two Pointers, the two lavatory Chirls, and the two unaligned students? I think we should send off the Chirls as soon as possible; they seem to have the most prejudices, and don't get along with Noel, so they're the hardest to deal with." "There's still the other Chirl in the training room we might have to deal with anyway, but there's no gaurantee we'll even find her alive." Quote

Myrddyn Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 "Oh, okay. I thought they just didn't want to travel or get in the box with Noel, but that they'd be fine entering a room that he is in, getting into the box, and being teleported. They have survived being in the same room as him before. Or perhaps Noel could enter the room once they are already in the box. But you're probably right, it might be easier to wait until we find that other one. Amanda? Thought that was the one with the 'A' on her shirt. Whatever her name was." Melissa. Quote

Kintobor Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Karie takes the opportunity to down a mead and smelling salts. "Oh wow, I think my minds going in so many places and it's all nothing relevant to what we're doing and I just want to bounce of the walls of this place and... I really need to calm down and just let this high these smelling salts give me just settle down..." She sits on one of the desks. Looking the students over. Teenagers were such fickle beings. "Sorrow... there's a greenhouse next door..." She looks at his hand, grimacing. "Do you think we'd find that Sunset Shimmer herb you're looking for in there?" Quote

Erik heads back towards Karie and Sorrow, unless anyone objects. Updated the map. It seems likely that the East wing is similar to the West wing, but that may not be the case. Sandy Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 QM Note: To speed things up, I'm going to move you ahead to the Greenhouse, where you undoubtedly would have headed next. "Noel, if you're not using my dagger, do you want to give it back please? It means a lot to me." "Sure thing, Miss. I'm no thief, after all." Noel hands back the heirloom dagger to Karie. The group heads to the last remaining room along the hallway, the Greenhouse, next. Upon opening the door, they are met with a putrid, thick odour and great humidity. At the center of the interior garden there is an enormous flower with a devilish face, and a total of five students and one teacher are dangling from vines growing out of it. "That's Professor Hawke and my classmates!" "Gulp! And the rafflesia..." The captives squirm helplessly as the vines choke them. It seems the plant is sapping away their health slowly but steadily. The heroes would have to cut down the plant fast, or face more casualties. PREPARE FOR A BATTLE! Kintobor Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) OOC: Sandy, do bombs act to decrease thickness? As well, does fire damage do anything to the thickness of the vine? Edited February 14, 2014 by Kintobor Quote
Endgame Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Gah, you're right - I was leaving a spot open in case I got a Tidings artifact (don't ask how that logic made sense in my skull, because it really doesn't ), but now that we're under time pressure... "We have 7 enemies and 9 actions, total. I would suggest someone goes after C and D, as thir captors are the most feeble." I shoot vine A then C. "Is this thing normally like this??" Quote
-obelix- Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Thalion casts a Fire spell at Vine E (and F) from back row. Quote
Cutcobra Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 OoC: Sandy, can we heal the victims? As in Karie, Amorith and Erik heal, not potion heal. Quote

Cutcobra Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 OoC: And does ice damage do anything to the thickness of the vine aswell as fire? Quote
Sandy Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 OOC: Sandy, do bombs act to decrease thickness? As well, does fire damage do anything to the thickness of the vine? OoC: Sandy, can we heal the victims? As in Karie, Amorith and Erik heal, not potion heal. OOC: Also would the sealed effect stop the vines from siphoning health? OoC: And does ice damage do anything to the thickness of the vine aswell as fire? QM Note: Thanks for the questions! I should've elaborated from the get-go... The thickness of the vines is only affected by attacks and spells, not items. Negative effects (other than petrification and sudden death) will not stop the siphoning effect. The captives can be healed through potions or healing, though. I've also added descriptions of the victims to the stats, in case you need to make some tough choices. Quote
Kintobor Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) "Someone should at least target the rafflesia. I've got D and E" Karie strikes roots D and E from the front row with the Oculoid palm. Edited February 15, 2014 by Kintobor Quote
Cutcobra Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 When I said about Fire and Ice damage I meant do they do double damage. "Okay guys, priority numero uno is low level students, then we should focus on the proffesor. I remember Noel saying he can take care of himself, meaning possible new addition to the team. And how about someone, let's say, Lucky strikes the big ugly plant? I don't want us all ending up poisoned." Heckz casts a Fire spell at Vine B from the back row. Noel casts an Ice spell at Vine E from the back row. Battle Order: Amorith Sorrow Karie Thalion Noel Heckz Erik Quote
