Sandy Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 We... We're gonna have to have to split up fast, thanks to that... thing. Is our routes to the doors now cut off?" "Not yet, as the thing is only eating the end of East Wing. But we have to act fast, the destructive power of that beast seems remarkable." Quote

Sandy Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 "And second all... Bohring, how in the world did you know what this is?!" "[After lingering between different planes of existence for a hundred years or so, you tend to pick up things. You are still too attached to living to know what I am babbling about, aren't you? Anyway, the Void Eaters are like the garbage disposal units of the rift between time and space - they eat up organic physical material that gets lost here. They are not evil, per se, just omnivorous.]" Quote
Endgame Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I continue to panic. "So... You're telling me if we don't dispose of the menace behind this fast enough, this school will get eaten by interdimensional dinosaurs?! And the school is clay and brick! Inorganic! Don't tell me it'll be going after us soon..." Quote
Kintobor Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Karie tosses Carrot Doppelgänger. "I swear to god, if you lose it..." Suddenly: giant void garbage disposal! Karie begins to panic at the sight of the large lumbering beast. "If we're going to do this, let's do it now, ladies and gentleman! I'd prefer to not be a late night snack! Who's going where? We need to decide and now, please!" Karie follows Sorrow if the plan is agreed on. Quote
Cutcobra Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 "Yes, Karie please lend Carrot your Ratsbane and Hugin your Doppelganger. Sorrow, lend Hugin your Greaves and your Helmet and lend Carrot your other Greavs. I assure you, all will be returned. Then lend Aunt Hymnessamine your True Love Serenade. We shall split up the way Sorrow said, except Sorsha goes in Party 4 and Erik in my party. We need healers too, you know." Heckz leads his party to Door 2. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 OOC: Karie doesn't own Ratsbane, I believe that's Althior who owns it, and he's on a different quest entirely... Also, I hate be a jerk, but I'm not lending out True Love's Serenade. I've been weaselled out of Hinckwell rep before, and I can't honestly know whether I'll get it back or not if Hymnessamine is knocked out. Sorry. Quote
-obelix- Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) Thalion listens to the discussion and nods, he then turns towards his party, "Follow me, quickly! And take this!" He tosses the Ratsbane to Carrot, and leads his party to Door #4, in the foyer. Edited June 22, 2014 by -obelix- Quote
Cutcobra Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 OoC: My mistake. It was Thalion who owned the Ratsbane, by what I can see. Quote

Endgame Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) Sandy, I believe we decided on giving Hugin Erik's twin axe. "Aright then, we have an easy time on our end. Sandy Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Sandy, I believe we decided on giving Hugin Erik's twin axe. QM Note: You only suggested it, Myrddyn never agree to that. Sorry I didn't say this earlier, but I'm fine with Hugin borrowing the Twin Axe if it's not too late. QM Note: Before now, that is. Yeah, it's kinda too late now... OoC: So, if we don't kill it this round it will just reset the battle? If we get thrown out of this battle, do we lose our positive effects? QM Note: Yes, the battle will be reset, but the Demon Doors that were not defeated will not replenish health. Those that were will regenerate fully. And yes, the party will lose positive effects if they are ousted from the battle. If they manage to defeat their side of the door, though, they will get experience even if Forculus isn't defeated completely. I apologize, but I don't have time to run the round tonight, as we have guests over. I will do it tomorrow, though. Quote
Endgame Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 QM Note: Before now, that is. Yeah, it's kinda too late now... Shouldn't you have waited for everyone to put their input in, then, instead of moving things along before everything was confirmed? Quote
Sandy Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 Shouldn't you have waited for everyone to put their input in, then, instead of moving things along before everything was confirmed? QM Note: Everyone else except Myrddyn and legobodgers (including yourself) expressed they were ready to move on, so you can't really blame it on me. If the Party Leader says "go", it's a sign to the QM that the party is ready. Do you always wait for every single player to post something before moving the quest on? Didn't think so... EDIT: Looking back, even Myrddyn expressed that he was ready. So yeah. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 OOC: What does Endgame's QMing have anything to do with this? It seems a little superfluous to bring that up. Quote
