Hello,

besides the Narsil-thing posted a short while ago we have also been working on our own version of the Lord Mayor's house in Lake Town:

We were quite happy with the result (but of course, we have seen more masterful exhibits on the net).

A quick glimpse into the inside:

Pity, the bookshelf on the left has not been captured well.... ok, next time.

Bye.

Wonderful Rendition, I love the crossbow on top, and the roof is great! The color scheme is lovely as well! All around great work man!

I think this is very good and has a high level of detail to the exterior. I think the only improvement that I would personally make is to add some more items to the interior.

Very nice MOC! I would just replace that pike which has the soldier in the tower with the crossbow or bow.Pike is useless weapon for that place, imo.

This is a pretty good MOC. The only thing I would add is some more detail on the inside room on the left. It looks a little bit plain to me. It was a nice touch to put the water bricks on the bottom as well.

I'd love to see how the interior of the roof is constructed?

Sorry ED-209, I did not see your question.

The roof is a very fragile affair. I have used 2x1 bricks with holes, attached them to each side of the roof and have linked them with technic elements.

(and if you look at it, it falls apart...)

I think the only improvement that I would personally make is to add some more items to the interior.

Agreed - I just had no inspiration at the time.

You're right!

Looks great! Would also look great with the Lake Town set!

That's what it was made for :sweet:

Thanks again for all your friendly comments! :classic:
