xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Yipieeeeeeeeeeee I can hardly wait :-D ;) Quote
Vader Posted March 13, 2005 Author Posted March 13, 2005 And dont forget that theres rumored to be a tv show of some sort coming out thats set between ep 3 and 4. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 True, but rumors are just that: rumors *wacko* We can only hope that a mini series with the same cast and same "feel" comes out. Then who knows about ep 7-9!!! Lets all keep our fingers crossed ;) Quote
Jipay Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Gaston, you miss on point he background story given in episode IV is falling into pieces. If padm Quote

Jipay Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 No way, I disagree, this is an extrapolation ! An arrangement made by mister Lucas. The thing is that if it was not Leia's real mother, Luke would never have asked about her in episode VI. I really disagree with episode 1 2 3, they just screw up everything we had in term of storyline in the OT Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Not really actually, because the twins were separated just after birth. Leia goes with Bail and Luke is dropped by Obi at his uncle's and Obi changes his name and stays next to Luke (in order to watch and protect him). I don't like ep 1 & 2, I'm jus trying to make the link between the first trilogy and the OT based on a short script version of ep 3!! Quote
Jipay Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 It's tricky. they should have done episode 7 8 9. With only digital actors :-D No actors no sets no crew, I'm sure GL is dreaming of this ;) Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 That would do the trick just fine :-D (or animewise). Imagine only CGIs!!!! May GL hear you ;) Or they could try to make Marc and Harrison younger (with a lot of make-up though :-D ) Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 At this point its no carbs and fat and a lot of exercise :-D But I guess it could be OK because she :-D has to give birth to Han's sons (little Luke), so she just never lost the kilos she took while being pregnant. Also ep 7 (the Fallen Hero) takes place 30 years after the battle of Endor ;) Quote
jonfett Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Do you think the ewoks will have grown at all in 30 years? ;) Jon. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 In height or in hair? :-D After 30 years, they might turn into cousin it :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 They might just look like those skinny egyptian cats :-D What about wookees? No discremination in furry creatures ;) Quote
Vader Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 Geez and i thought i was bad at going off topic :-D ;) Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 >-| you are not alone, the title of "off topic" dark master is pretty hard to decide ;) See, for once it only took 3 pages from ROTS to furless ewoks and fat Fisher :-D Quote
yoda601 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 The trailer is so awesome! Can't wait for the new movie! Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Just downloaded a high resolution version. Just awesome! This is one movie worth checking out, plus War of the Worlds. I can't wait to see the big ship wars. Some of the scenes look amazing. I don't get one thing, how come Anakin grew so much but Padme still looks the same? 8-| Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Just a guess: basically who cares about Padme now that she's pregnant and about to die :-D However, concerning Anakin, our main dark hero, its not that he looks much older, its a way to make him interesting and lineant to the dark side. It just shows his dark spirit. On the character evolution, go and check the official SW website, where you have the explenation made by GL and his crew....Really interesting: just check http://movieweb.com/movies/film.php?7 Quote
Dark_Avenger Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Unfortunatly he won't (that its big theory: only 6 eps, Anakin's life from craddle to grave :| ).Which is too bad because I read short versions of the scripts for ep 7-9, and they are awsome *satis* The only problem would be the age of the actors from the OT :-D Y'mean on Super Shadow's website? That guy's a fake, dude. Of course Leia remebers parts of her childhood. Bail Organa claims young Leia to be his own child. So Leia's memories of her mom is actually Bail's wife!!! No, Leia was talking about Padme in Return of the Jedi. *move back if you're spoiler-phobic* From what I've heard, Leia's the first born, so there's a minute where she and Padme kinda get a mom-'n'-daughter eye gaze thing. Apparently that's what becomes a lasting memory for her. (I think that, considering Padme was dying, it's a pretty good connection to that "beautiful, but... sad" line.) Anyways, I watched the trailer numerous times over the weekend, and I bookmarked a link to the starwars.com page. Matter of fact, I have it up and loaded in another window as I type this. (Yes, I'm an addict on movie trailers and Star Wars. Putting the two together in front of me is like a synergistic drug reaction.) I've been trying to tell myself not to get my hopes up over this movie. I really liked Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, but the original trilogy just beats them both hands-down. But darnit, the trailer's got me hyped. Super-hyped. Anyone else feel like crying when Obi-Wan yelled, "You were the chosen one!"? I know it's just a trailer, but I think that's one of the most emotional and heart-felt lines in the whole prequel trilogy. Thank God for Ewan. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 DA, Concerning the first quote, I really don Quote
yoda601 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Bottom line it is impossible for her to remember Padme But remember, she is force sensitive. I don't get one thing, how come Anakin grew so much but Padme still looks the same? Because she was older in the first place. And she wouldnt have grown much in three years, since she was an adult. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Interesting.....Force sensitive for a couple of seconds glance at her dying mother in the first minutes of her life.... ;) Strong with her, the force is :-D PS: could we have a YODA Smilley? ;) Quote
Luigi Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I agree with xwingyoda it's pretty unbelievable she remembered Padme and the idea of Bail's wife is much credible (even if it would not stick with the epVI phrase) We'll see that in a short time ^^ For Padme she may have been older but she has not grown at all in the meaning she took no age (BUT it's a good idea of Lucas for a time we like her how she is ^^) *wub* Quote
