I made a grandfather clock last night. I think it looks pretty good for a cheap, very basic clock from a time period where most people used them in their homes.

I'm looking for ways to make it a little fancier. What do you guys think? I didn't find any on Google that I liked better. I've attached the LDD file.

PS – I wasn't sure which forum to put this in since it's not related to any theme in particular. I hope this forum's ok for that.

nice job :) especially the pendulum!

Thanks! That's the part that bothered me the most in the clocks I found online, so I'm glad I was able to get that right. :classic:

Edit: Also, I saw a lot of people using minifigure legs. They look nice, but I'm not a fan of mutilating minifigures.

Nice work Jodawill... but when it comes to building fancy LEGO furniture... Eric Harshbarger, a LEGO acquaintance, is hard to top. This is one of his LEGO masterpieces is this Grandfather clock, standing next to him...

So when you're building digital... think big!!

Haha. I saw that when I did a Google Image search for "Lego grandfather clock." There's no way I could top that.

I'm just trying to make a minifigure scale one though. I was going to put this clock in my western fort, but it was too tall for my walls. :sceptic:
