solta Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) My model of the vehicle is in Lego minifig scale. It is 6 studs wide (7 with fenders) and 18 studs long (19 counting the bumpers). Unfortunately you can not put the whole minifig in it, you previously need to remove the legs. That is because the roof is very low. It can't be higher for this type of vehicle. You can put two minifigs inside sitting side by side. The idea for the wheels I got here on EB. Exhaust at the rear of the vehicle. And the last photo overlooking the front and rear of the vehicle. _______________________________________________________________ Here are additional three photos. You can make up the story yourself. timmyc1983 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Afraid not, they are all 'broken' pictures Quote
solta Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 I'll try to correct this. Sorry for the inconvenience. Quote
eurotrash Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 The pictures are now available - good looking MOC. What have you wrapped around the Levers? Quote
solta Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 What have you wrapped around the Levers? Lego pneumatic hose. I think it was 4mm thick. I cut up two pieces for those two levers. Quote
rriggs Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 That's a great design and instantly recognisable! Nice work! You even managed to find a purpose for one CMF base. Just need to find uses for all the rest now... Cheers Rog Quote
gazumpty Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Wow this was worth waiting for the pics to work...what a great wee MOC. Love to see this in orange or red :D Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Awesome job solta! One of my favorite muscle cars Quote
ER0L Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Well, now there are at least two great 1970 Chargers in minifig scale worth knowing: yours and derjoe's. I love the overall shape, especially the rear part. A good idea to lift the whole thing at the rear, adds a lot to the shape. While I am not too fond of that kind of windscreen I must admit that it has some advantages. One suggestion: Have you ever tried to turn those tires inside out? Might be working on a muscle car like this. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 AWESOME V8 'solta'......it makes me want to say...... Brick On Drive On 'solta' ! Quote
zeki Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Nice car! I only miss the 5 wide version you used to make! Otherwise the car is spot on! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Great design Solta ...I like your supercar! The last picture is epic! Quote
solta Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 Love to see this in orange or red :D Orange with 01 on doors. One suggestion: Have you ever tried to turn those tires inside out? Might be working on a muscle car like this. I don't understand what you mean. Do you have an example? I only miss the 5 wide version you used to make! Compared to 5 wide porsche 911 this one has to be 6 studs wide. Quote
ER0L Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I don't understand what you mean. Do you have an example? This can be done with pliers. You avoid that ugly profile that rather belongs to off-road vehicles. Quote
Poisso3 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Sweet ride! Great use for the mini figure stand, too! Quote
Subix Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Fantastic build. Looks easy but indeed great job. Quote
