Captain Settle Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 The hardest part of this build was definitely trying to make the ground seem barren, but still detailed enough. C&C welcome. Quote
Gunman Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Nice texturing on the walls. Did you have spare studs to use as landscape?? Or you reached cat B limit?? Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Great detailing on the walls, I like the curved one as well! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Neat little fortress, the texturing is excellent and the curved wall protecting the entrance is something I don't recall seeing before I think a few more small dark tan plates in the landscape would look good, if you have them. Quote
Captain Settle Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Nice texturing on the walls. Did you have spare studs to use as landscape?? Or you reached cat B limit?? I had about ten spare studs to use, as the build doesn't go very fa back. Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Great detailing on the wall, i quite like it Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Nice texture and I think the ground works well. The one thing that you need to work on is the photography I think, but you are on your way! Quote
de Gothia Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 A huge improvement! The texture on the tower is very nice! Well done! The photos are much better but I would like some more of them! Quote
Torgar Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Nice stonework on the tower! It would be great to see it from a few different angles though. Quote
Gideon Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Good job with the texturing in the walls, detailed but not too much so the shape of the towers get blurred. Keep up the good work I would have liked to see the Black Spire colors somewhere on this fortress however, and I would advice you to push the plates in the base together better if you are photographing from a low angle like that.
