Brickadiergerard Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Lothlorien. I would absolutely love a Lothlorien set. Ideally a massive one like the Ewok village, but I'd settle for a modest tree, Celeborn, Galadriel and her mirror. So Lothlorien gets my vote Quote
rodiziorobs Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I can't see a Mount Doom set having unique pieces, interesting build techniques, or any nice parts usage; I can imagine Lothlorien having all three so my vote would be for Lorien. Quote
greeny Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 It depends what kind of Mount Doom this is. Is it a set based on the end of the film with Frodo, Sam or Gollum? Or is it a set based on the opening prolouge with Suaron, Elrond and Isildur? I'm going with Mount Doom because it might be the only way we can get Sauron. Quote
Dragonfire Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Tough choice, but I'd go for Lothlorien. Quote
Emperor Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Black/grey rocks don't sound too exciting... Sauron or Isildur would be great, but Lothlorien would also have new minifigs plus much more interesting builds, so Lothlorien it is. Quote
SirBlake Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 This one looks like a landslide victory for Lothlorien. Quote
Infernum Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Hmm, Mt Doom with Sauron and Isildur would be great, but I don't see it happening. I'm going with the must more interesting (design-wise) Lothlorien. Quote
gazumpty Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Lothlórien as I feel Mount Doom can already be achieved from the Mordor sets Quote
Floundie Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 As much as I really want both, I have to say Lothlorien. Quote
Venunder Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Images_of_Lothl%C3%B3rien?file=Caras_Galadhon_02.jpg It has to be Lothlorien. For the Yellow leaf pieces and the light tan Arches and bricks for the branches. And of course the Galadhrim minifigs, Elven buildings and walkways attached to the Tree trunks. Quote
JoashColbat Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Lothlorien all the way. More elves the better, right? Quote
Erathor Pridenar Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I would definitely pick Lothlorien! Quote
Brick Fiend Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Tough decision. If it could be guaranteed that Mt Doom would be a Last Alliance based set then it would get my vote. Not going to happen though. So I'll go Lothlorien as well. Quote
Blakstone Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 This one looks like a landslide victory for Lothlorien. Indeed. The seat of Lord Sauron was smashed 35 to 5 by Lothlórien this week. Quote
