Loves Houses Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Wow, very nice MOC. The modern part and the older style fit surprisingly nicely. Well done. Quote
LEGO Family Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Quite good modular. What makes it shine for me is your clean setup and some great photographing and light setup. Well done Quote
Commander Turtle Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 The interior of this build just sings, it's one of the best I've seen. Quote
KristofBD Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Wooow these interiors are fantastic! Well done! Quote
Redhead1982 Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 What makes it shine for me is your clean setup and some great photographing and light setup. Thanks! I learned some new tricks at the RA, but taking pictures of this building was far from easy. I should keep in mind to avoid white facades. My space is limited, and I'm glad you like the result of the photo-session I had with this modular. The interior of this build just sings, it's one of the best I've seen. Wooow these interiors are fantastic! Well done! Thanks. The building was finished in early November, and I had some hard time figuring out the furniture design. I always feel I'm repeating my ''standard'' designs from previous buildings, and I try to experiment at least a little bit. The modern part and the older style fit surprisingly nicely. Thanks. I often see buildings with modern/classic old facades, and they don't always look good. Some do, and I tried to replicate this here. Quote
paostmo Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Perhaps your best build yet! I love the wooden SNOT floors, the lamp with the electrical cord wrapped around it, and the bathroom. It's also nice to see that you haven't disassembled your two 16 stud wide modulars. Your dark green one is particularly classic. Quote
trippybrowneyes Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 The attention to detail is fabulous. I love the dragon model and the Lego store displays. And then there's the apartment - not only does it have wonderful little details, like the bookshelves and shower, but the design of the room has a real sense of style. If it existed in real life, I could see it appearing on the Apartment Therapy site. Well done! Quote
Redhead1982 Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Thanks, Trippybrowneyes! I get a lot of inspiration from Interior design magazines, and I always try to furnish the apartment as if I live there. The attention to detail is fabulous.
