Posted January 16, 201411 yr Hi all, It's been a very long time since I posted. But still love lego and enjoying all the brilliant creations out there! After selling my original Cafe Corner (for a rediculous price), I had some free space and money to build something myself. Honestly I don't see the fun (anymore) of recreating a "perfect" 10218, but I did want to go for another Cafe Corner based building. I'm not so much an interior builder, but I did my very best for the lower floor. And finally an overview Looking forward to hear from you all Cheers, Dutch PS: Still haven't posted pics from my earlier moc from 2 years ago (http://www.eurobrick...wtopic=65483) Hope to make some soon PS2: Next building won't be a corner building. I promise!
January 17, 201411 yr This is a great corner build and you can spot the inspiration a mile a way, which is good! I like the interesting use of the hubcaps and technic pieces. Great use and happy building
January 17, 201411 yr Excellent work on this MOC...I love the nod to Cafe Corner with your design but your own details really set it apart. Your interiors are really nicely put together too. Gotta love the cheeky drunken sailor!

Hahaha so you are one the b*st*rds who sells them at marktplaats for more than 500 euro ... meh im hopefully doing the same soon with a Fire Brigade. Anyway ontopic: looks good, love the interior.
January 17, 201411 yr Author Very nice MOC! Is that a goblet high up in the bell tower? It is. Tried (a lot) of different parts, but in the end I ended up with just a goblet... Anyway ontopic: looks good, love the interior. even for more on Bricklink... So with this building I want to show people that it is waaaay more fun (and a lot cheaper) to create something a bit different, but still very recognizable. Edited January 17, 201411 yr by DutchTreat
January 17, 201411 yr I really should sell my Green Grocer, and do this. I could probably build three MOC modulars for what I could get for it.
January 18, 201411 yr A fantastic build! A great idea to sell the original and build a modded MOC based on it. Trying to figure out what to do with my mostly built CC and GG among other mods, and have already modded parts of them. And I still have an extra of each in the box awaiting a plan. Did not get a Market Street when they came out…thought is was not attractive enough. So maybe I should trade for one of those….hummmm. Got me thinking now! Congrats on your fine build!
January 18, 201411 yr Love the look of the building. Excellent work. I wouldn't sell it as I can never have too much Lego!
January 25, 201411 yr I am very impressed ... I think we need to modify our old original Cafe Corner.
January 25, 201411 yr Nice one, especially the interiors. And the gear wheels. Maybe I should sell mine as well...
