Here's my latest attempt at a race car: Bugatti Type 35. I built the body in more of a minimalistic design to reduce weight, and increase speed. The power is provided by two L motors, and the steering is controlled by a servo.

The steering system is something I came up with. I don't think I've ever really seen this used before(please tell me if you've seen this anywhere else before),and it seems to work really well. In the video above you can see the steering in action.

I'll post a video of it driving as soon as I can.

That steering system is brilliant! It's like a very small gear rack!

Thanks, When I first came up with the idea I was worried that the bushings would slip and come out of place. Turned out it works great!

Yeah I was surprised that they didn't.

Nice work on the steering :thumbup:

I've seen bushings used with worm gears before, but not with standard gears.

Do you have any video so we can see how fast this model moves?
