The Architect Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) Backstories of characters I use and will use in GoH. In no specific order, once an Avalonian knight who was teased about his name to such an extent he decided to leave Avalonia, the road he took lead him straight the the obsidian spike where he pledged his allegiance to Lord Raavage. Sir Brutus Tinkle Toes Hectors brother, same story. Izarius A beggar, you'll find out more about him in future MOCs. Elric My sigfig and and a servant of Lord Raavage. He has two lieutenants: Dagaboth Lieutenant of Elric Methusealeh Lieutenant of Elric Edit: Missed out a word. Edited November 6, 2016 by The Architect Removed 8 figs as it is unlikely they will used in GoH, to avoid confusion for anyone browsing my profile, if this bumps my topic, my apologies. Quote

Gideon Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 That's a nice collection of characters, I hope they will get the attention they deserve in upcoming MOCs Some of the pictures were however way too blurry, what did you do differently between the sharp ones and the blurry ones? Quote
The Architect Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 My camera has battery problems which affect performance its a very long strange story, that I myself only partially understand, I'll try to get clearer ones up, and by the way thanks! Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Good work, but looks like you need a little photography lesson! Two quick suggestions to help eliminate the blurriness. 1) Set your camera to "macro" mode when taking close-ups. The macro setting is the one that looks like a flower on the camera. 2) To avoid shaking the camera when you snap the picture, put you camera on a timer to take the pictures 1 or 2 seconds AFTER you push the button. That will eliminate the camera shakiness when you depress and release the button to take the shot. Quote

It is also good to make sure that the build is clean of debris, such as hair, etc. I've seen some of these things in my own pictures a while after taking them and just a quick tidying can make all the difference. TheUtilityBelt Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Nice characters! Can I post a couple of my sigfigs here? Quote
MKJoshA Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 My favorite is Rafstin. Love the use of the LOTR torso! I have a couple questions about parts. Where is Raban's armor from? He's the one with the dark blue/purple armor. And, what minifig is Methusealeh's head piece from? Quote

Will do. I didn't notice that piece of whatever-it-is in there until after all the pics had been uploaded. Anyway, good point, thanks. Nice characters! Can I post a couple of my sigfigs here? Course you can! I'd love to see people posting their figs in here. My favorite is Rafstin. Love the use of the LOTR torso! I have a couple questions about parts. Where is Raban's armor from? He's the one with the dark blue/purple armor. And, what minifig is Methusealeh's head piece from? Thanks MK. Raban's armor is Eglor from "Chima's" torso. Raban's blue head piece is also from Eglor. Methusealeh's head is the evil knights leader from castle 2013/2014 .. Edited January 23, 2014 by The Architect Quote
