Posted January 19, 201411 yr (all images link to larger images) Brickshelf Gallery So this is the first MOC I've built in two years, he's a rather spindly robot. It's nice to be building again. Anyways, please let me know what you think about him. Thanks!
January 19, 201411 yr it's coool! and definitely great to see moc that's not toa or heroes once in a while like this.
January 19, 201411 yr Beautiful. The spindly proportions, gangly legs and colorscheme a la Blactron I makes this MOC look very sinister. And the techniques used are excellent. What's the assembly at the top of the torso? I can't make heads or tails of it.
January 19, 201411 yr Author @DraikNova: This picture should show some more detail. The head area is made from this piece as well as the shoulder joints from a tecnic figure.
January 19, 201411 yr Very good ! The only thing I don't really like is the yellow knee spikes. They don't fit with the general aesthetics of the MOC. But the rest is nice, especially the torso.
January 19, 201411 yr Wonderful! Colors. design, construction...everything. I have always liked such style.
January 19, 201411 yr Heh, this guy is instantly recognizable as a creation of yours. Love all the fake pistons on the limbs and the upper torso bit.
January 19, 201411 yr Cool build. Awesomely spindly while still appearing substantial and not overly fragile. And it's nice to see you MOCing again!
January 20, 201411 yr You made a head out of a tricycle? That's just the best and most "What." use of a part I've ever seen.
January 24, 201411 yr Author @WARHEAD: I seriously considered giving it more color and beefing up the arms and legs because it was shaping up to be a "typical" MOC for me. But fortunately my love for the spindly aesthetic won over that desire lol. I do think it's funny that one of my first builds in a long time is very reminiscent of a style I've tried to stay away from since 2010. @Leewan: I debated not giving him the knee spikes, as I agree with you that they look off. I was going to give him yellow cylindrical spikes but in the end I went with the simple spikes. I may change the spikes eventually. Thanks for all of the comments everyone, really glad you guys enjoy the MOC!
