Meatman Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Thanks for the pictures Paul! Looking froward to seeing more of angles of the body in the future! Quote
Lakop Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Great car! Your front suspension will be copied for years. Thanks for sharing. H Quote
AndyCW Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 It reminds me of a Mustang. There are not many other muscle car or pony cars that came in red with write stripes. v/r Andy Quote
zux Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Great car! Your front suspension will be copied for years. Well I think everyone with new parts would come up with the same or similar setup. Quote
Paul Boratko Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) Great Work Paul! That front suspension is awesome. I hope you bring this to Philly Brickfest. I am not going to be doing anymore AFOL based shows because there are way too much politics involved in them... I am just going to stick to local shows, charity events, and all around toy shows... Great car! Your front suspension will be copied for years. Thanks for sharing. H This suspension is a pretty straight forward design... I wouldn't be surprised if someone else already built the exact same thing prior to this... Well I think everyone with new parts would come up with the same or similar setup. Yeah, there isn't anything ground breaking about it.. The new parts pretty much self-dictate how to use them... Edited January 20, 2014 by Paul Boratko Quote
Milan Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Great looking car! Love the roof and bumper! Quote
steph77 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Very great looking car! I love your gearbox Very impressive job Quote
Paul Boratko Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) Finally had a chance to get some more pictures.. The weather has been really bad(Extremely Cold with snow) and I wanted to get some pics out in natural sunlight... Edited January 27, 2014 by Paul Boratko Quote
Milan Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I like clear lines and symmetry of the second to last picture. Quote
Paul Boratko Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I like clear lines and symmetry of the second to last picture. Thanks Milan..! Some parts of the body were very tricky.. I wanted to have a good looking body, but not look overdone... I definitely taught myself a few things with this new car... Quote
unimog123 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Thanks for more pictures. I take my hat off to you! Looking forward to next model. Quote
Rishab N Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Am I being stupid or is there no HOG on this model? Either way it still looks amazing. Looking forward to instructions Quote

Looking forward to instructions No, you are not stupid, you're alright.. ;) I had a HOG steering on this through the first stages of the chassis developement, but I decided to eliminate it... legolijntje Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I like this one a little less than your other cars. Muscle cars are not really my type of car. It's a great model nevertheless Quote

Right decision about HOG! This is a realistic model first, and then a toy. But I am not sure that you will play it:) Nice muscle, Paul. I see you developed your "monster muscle" from small to big scale:) Edited January 27, 2014 by rm8 Quote
Polo-Freak Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) What a beauty! I need this Edited January 27, 2014 by Polo-Freak Quote
Meatman Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Thanks for the new desktop wallpaper. I love he use of the micro panels in this model. Especially in the front spoiler. I am still having trouble figuring out that hinge though. Are you going to do a video for this and it's functions? Quote
Paul Boratko Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I am still having trouble figuring out that hinge though. Here I made a GIF of it... Quote
skriblez Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Yeah, i need to add this to my list of builds to. This is going to be a very expensive year! Quote
Meatman Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Here I made a GIF of it... Ok, I see now. Thanks for the video of this. That looks like it works very smoothly. I like how the hood just falls right back into place. Kind of surprised this hasn't been front paged yet. Not to take anything away from your other models, but this is probably the overall nicest cars that you've done to date. It also has a very Lego Like look to it. One other question, are there any off the wall or rare parts in this model to know about before they are impossible to find on bricklink later? Edited January 28, 2014 by Meatman Quote
Jim Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Kind of surprised this hasn't been front paged yet. Don't worry. Yet is the keyword here Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Another amazing car by Paul! This car has some great lines to it, and great job placing all the panels! Nice use of new parts, and that hood mechanism is great. Any pictures of the rear axle? Quote
Blakbird Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Kind of surprised this hasn't been front paged yet. Don't worry. Yet is the keyword here Would probably make more sense after the instructions are available. Hopefully that won't be too long! Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Would probably make more sense after the instructions are available. Hopefully that won't be too long! If the instructions are free then yes I agree. Quote
