pldeutelephonz Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) Hi guys, I just posted my first Lego project on CUUSOO and its a set based on the battle of felucia and the execution of order 66 where Aayla Secura's clone troops turned on her. The set is designed to inspire more sets based on the order 66 scenes and more sets with landscape and unique biomes included in Lego form. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/56422 Edited January 20, 2014 by Brickdoctor Changed topic from a CUUSOO project into an MOC. arc Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I like the idea, but I don't think lego would be willing to make a series of sets based on innocent jedi being murdered. Quote
Only Sinner Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I like this idea. We really need a non-CW Jedi Master Aayla Secura and this would be a perfect set. The Star Corps troopers would be highly desirable minifigs, too. I think you have the right idea for an actual LEGO set as far as piece count and content goes. Unfortunately, TLG won't consider ideas for existing liscenced properties for Cuusoo. As far as the level of violence goes, Order 66 scenes are about average with what some other actual production sets have had already. Regardless of any viable production prospects, this is still a pretty good MOC. Quote
BrickG Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Too violent for Lego. They won't do it. I'd also love a build that happens in the Empire Strikes Back Vader/Luke duel. Complete with Handless Luke with a screaming in pain face :P. Totally serious. It would be awesome. He's hanging there on that ledge with Vader overlooking. Won't happen :(. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 The project looks good. Unfortunately, on EB, we don't allow you to post something just as an advertisement for a CUUSOO project. The Member Guidelines state: [...]CUUSOO: If you have a great MOC, that is also a CUUSOO project, you may present it on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the CUUSOO entry. Make the title about the MOC, not the CUUSOO business; don't be too shouty, and it is likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on CUUSOO', rather than: 'I want CUUSOO support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!. [...] I've edited the topic title and your post slightly to comply with this policy. Thanks. Quote
Spyderlord Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Great project! Wish you all the luck with Cuusoo, you have my support! Quote
lord raphael Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I do not really post on the starwars thread but it is a good idea. Quote

I realise that order 66 is a violent scene but I still think its necessary to the star wars lego. I mean they created dooku and Yoda in a fight scene and a very burnt anakin which was a very violent battle scene so I don't think they will be too offput. The project looks good. The Member Guidelines state: I've edited the topic title and your post slightly to comply with this policy. Thanks. oh sorry I didn't realise that. Well maybe I'll post some more details about my moc tomorrow and I can make it more about the model than cuusoo. :) I like the idea, but I don't think lego would be willing to make a series of sets based on innocent jedi being murdered. well they made sets based on anakin burning half to death and being reconstructed as Darth Vader. So just sayin Great project! Wish you all the luck with Cuusoo, you have my support! thanks a lot ! My aim is mainly to promote original and unique scenes for sets and things that lego hasn't yet made so thats what I'm truing to do. I'm also developing my graphic design skills :) Quote
DarthTwoShedsJackson Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 This set would be awesome for a phase two commander Bly alone (or any phase commander Bly, that is)! Quote
pldeutelephonz Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 This set would be awesome for a phase two commander Bly alone (or any phase commander Bly, that is)! exactly! We need him in lego from episode III Very nice looking MOC, great job! :) thanks, I really specialise in box art and would love to get into professional graphic design. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Not bad! I agree we need a new Aayla Secura (i.e non crappy CW version) I'd like to see a few more in this series! Quote

I agree we need a new Aayla Secura (i.e non crappy CW version) I'd like to see a few more in this series! don't worry they are coming!! But not all of them are from order 66 but still related in some way. For example I just designed a set based on bail organa's airspeeder from the Jedi temple scene. Quote
pldeutelephonz Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 It looks cool! thanks! Glad you like it! Quote
