What was the timeline for the Harry Potter DK book in relation to the end of the line?

There are two. The second one was at the end (2012).

I see them combining the two themes into one book, rather than two separate ones due to lack of sets for LOTR

Looks like Lego updated their The Hobbit website

It now has the Botfa backdrop and Logo :sweet:

Honestly, an old Bilbo minifigure is not unlikely and it would be a sweet way to wrap up the Middle Earth line.

You're right! Old Bilbo would be nice. I just hope it's not another young one.

I don't think there are any forms of the young version left, Lego has been very thorough.

Old Bilbo is vey likely as he appears in both the Hobbit and LOTR

Anymore sightings of BotFA sets at retail? Still none in my area as of today. Have TRU stores been told to pull them for the time being until the release date?

I still haven't checked in my area...I really should.

I found Witch-king Battle last night. Grabbed 2. Putting off getting the other 2 sets because I need funds for NYCC, so I haven't been looking for them yet.

Bah. Don't you just hate it when life gets in the way of buying toys marketed towards children? =S

Hahaha ... ain't that the truth! My son hate me for it. (he really doesn't, because he only cares about Mario Kart and Kart Racers). He's 10, I'm 38 - go figure. Luckily we both like guitars & the band Rush.

Hey guys!

Not sure if this has already been discussed, and sorry if it has (didn't find it though), but do we have any info on the release date of the sets in LEGO shops/online shop?

Especially in Europe and/or France.

I know The Lonely Mountain appears on the US online shop with an October 15th release date, but nothing on French one, nor any info about it.

Really how do you know?

i can confirm that too, 15th october in Europe...

i got already 79015

Can we also see it on a regular Nazgul without the hood and the crown on instead? I know it won't look perfect but just interested in seeing how it looks anyways.

Sorry it took so long and sorry it's not a great pic. Let me know if you want to see something else.

Checked my local TRU here in Missouri last night and didn't see any of the sets on the shelves yet.

All TMNT items were on sale though so I ended up picking up a set of the retro classic series turtles and a foot soldier for a nice price instead ;)

Gonna call my Lego Store tommorow, bet they dont have them but i can always call :sweet:

Just a thought ... if you put the Witch-King's crown on a transparent head on a Ringwraith's body (or some other body in dark armor), you'd have a pretty cool-looking book-accurate Witch King.

Has anyone already tried this?

15 October for all

Wish I could get it earlier... but I'm trying to look on the bright side.

Oct 1st I can order Santa's Workshop and a couple smaller items... then on the 15th place another order for some Hobbit items! And all of it will be Double VIP! YESSS!

Remember you get a free Holiday set with $99 or more orders... so I'm aiming to get two of those.

I was lucky enough to score the $30 and $60 sets at Target!

So, for the first one- Attack on Lake-town- it's okay. I mean, I get why they made it. They were probably obligated to do four more sets. A Lake-town expansion is a good idea for a filler smaller set. The minifigures are the standout of this set. You get five exclusive minifigures, which is good in my book. I especially love the exclusive new moulded orc hair! That was an unnecessary yet very kind more of LEGO!

As always, you can see the full sized version of these pictures on my Flickr, and don't be afraid to request pictures!
