BTW Carlos, how did u managed to gt those sets so eary?

Seller from Puebla, Mexico

He usually gets the sets a lot earlier, (Metal Beard's Sea Cow, Simpson's House and this wave of The Hobbit) but he only gets like one or two of each at maximum, and I don't think I'll get my hands on any one of the other two sets he is out of stock now

Just upoloaded the rest of the pictures, main structure and the minifigures

Thanks for the additional pictures! Dain and Thorin look great, but is it just me or does Dain's head look like Gloin's?

I was literally about to say that Dain's face is most likely Gloin's... Not very impressed with TLG's decision with that, but I guess that I can't complain all that much because we don't have a true image of Dain yet. And just confirming, Bard is the exact same as SDCC (I compared mine to the photos and don't see anything different). Also, new Orc face!!! :) Thank you Carlos!

Dain and Thorin looks fabulous. Together with Bard its pretty much highlight of the set. Building sucks, so definitely I will recreate it more properly. Same lackluster structure like MeA. Urggg! Awfull.

Thanx carlos for pics...

Thanks for the pics! Looking good... Thorin looks surprisingly good actually! I also like Dain. Does the plume come off?

I don't think it matters that much. The beards hide most of the face for both characters anyway.

The orcs have new faces, also they have changed some of the brown on the torso(back) to be grey instead of brown....

Why are they making 2 new orcs faces, a sligthly altered gunddabad torso... so bad resource management.

Thanks for the pictures. Again, the figures look outstanding (as always). I thought LEGO was a building toy, but I guess it is a minifigure collectible now.

The build looks okay, better than expected anyway. I do like seeing those arches in tan, although I don't know what I'll use them for. Maybe in my Rivendell build? Although white is still probably preferred.

It is disappointing how they handled this license. Whether it was the movie production company or LEGO, someone dropped the ball big time. But then again, I haven't felt like the movies were that good either...sad face.

But the figures are worth having.

How so? You actualy like Bofa set? For what? (excluding figs)... Just curious...

Well I guess I just like the colour scheme and the simple build. Not to mention the minifigures. But I didn't expect a lot form this set anyway so I guess it helps I was pleasantly surprised.

Thanks a million Carlos, I've completely changed my mind on set 79017, looks like I may have to buy most of the wave now. :classic:

Carlos, could you take a picture of the Witch King set attached to the Dol Guldur Battle set, also could you take a picture of Battle of Five Armies set next to Dol Guldur.

P.S. how many pieces are in Battle of Five Armies ?

Nice pictures, I'm liking the new orc(s). All of the minifigures are great as usual, though the battle of five armies tower structure isn't exactly a work of art, to put it nicely.

Thank you Carlos. Much appreciated. I said it WAY back when the first set of images appeared. This wave looks great. Sure it's not perfect and exactly everything everyone here wanted, but all in all - The Hobbit got a really great representation of sets for the movies.

I just REALLY wish we could say the same for LotR...

Dear everyone,

He only has the Battle of Five Armies set. He can't take any photos of the other 3 sets beyond the images of them from the booklet which he has already photographed.
