Hypernova888 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 *Sigh* Yeah, there should have been Ravenhill. Yeah, there should have been someone other than Bain. But I think the one thing that'll do any good talking about it is the video game. Seriously...we should all ask LEGO what the deal is. Quote

I did, TT still owe's me a response If they don't release the DLC that would be really really really messed up Also i was really expecting Young thorin to show up at some point i mean, look at my pic that torso is pretty detailed and looks to be designed by Lego, but alas it didn't Quote

Young Thorin and a Thrain would have been awesome minifigures, although I would prefer Thorin in his battle armor than a young Thorin Quote

Hypernova888 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I think I'd like Thror over another Thorin, though either of those variants are still pretty cool. Quote
TheWorldAhead Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I've been really annoyed and confused about the lack of BOTFA DLC for the video game as well. My only thought is that, if TT has to use significant amounts of audio and spoilers from the film, perhaps they are waiting to tie it in with the Blu-ray release around April or so. But if that is the case, why the heck wouldn't they have announced it? What I fear the most is "LEGO The Hobbit 2: The Complete Adventure," or something like that. Quote
Blakstone Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 ^ I would think the bigger threat would be that the whole project just ended without either a DLC or a second game. Quote
Hypernova888 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 ^ I would think the bigger threat would be that the whole project just ended without either a DLC or a second game. Yeah, I'm much more concerned about not getting it: I'd buy the DLC or even a seperate game in a heartbeat: I'm just worried it won't exist. Quote
TheWorldAhead Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 ^ I would think the bigger threat would be that the whole project just ended without either a DLC or a second game. You're right. And now that I think about it, a second game could have provided us with another exclusive minifigure. Quote
Albus Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I wouldn't mind a complete videogame edition, because we'd potentially get a new minifig with it. Although, I'm still hoping for a Visual Dictionary. Either covering both LotR and The Hobbit, or preferably, one book for each! It'd be a great way to get Old Bilbo, for example, and maybe a Thorin/Dwarf variation. If they did a Visual Dictionary for both themes, and a Hobbit videogame sequel, that's three new characters we could get... (although restricted because they can't use old moulds, but I don't mind). Plus the Bain figure, presumably with the DVD? Quote

Steph 104th Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Or Bain in his pyjamas. Haha, very possible. I'm still hoping for old Bilbo. Quote
Robert_88 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Or maybe one of the naked dwarves from AUJ (EE).. Quote
Hypernova888 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Or Bain in his pyjamas. ... Even though the chances for exclusives listed are still possible, I'd advise against anyone getting their hopes up too far. Edited January 13, 2015 by Hypernova888 Quote
LegoThomas Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) Anybody know what this is? http://m.aliexpress.com/item-desc/1925386082.html Bad fake. Obviously. Now i know Where those strange uruk shields on ebay are coming from. :-)) Edited January 15, 2015 by LegoThomas Quote
deskp Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Anybody know what this is? http://m.aliexpress....1925386082.html Yes it's bootleg lego. fake trash. Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) I think I'd like Thror over another Thorin, though either of those variants are still pretty cool. I'd love a Thror for the Lonely Mountain set, and better still i think there's a way to make him with no new moulds. All it'd need was a reprinted Thorin's hair from the BOFA set in grey, Gimli's beard in grey and new prints for the torso and head. I personally would buy any product which that minifigure is included in. Thrain's possible as well, just with Balin's or Gloin's beard in grey. Lego could make either version, either the royal or Dol guldur one. Edited January 15, 2015 by Dragonlego27 Quote

Wardancer Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Is Smaug off the Shelves in Germany already? I couldnt find him in 3 stores and no LOTR whatsoever. Quote

Here in Austria the situation is quite the same. I couldn't find any of the new Hobbit wave 3 sets in the last weeks, too. I'm really wondering if they will ever get restocked. I'm a bit shocked how quickly the sets disappeared..... Edited January 15, 2015 by Balbo Quote

Wardancer Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Seriously, what is going on with LEGO Germany and The Hobbit? ? - I checked 3 stores which have no LOTR or Hobbit sets whatsoever. - on amazon.de, on the allmighty amazon, there are only lonely mountain sets from thord part sellers, starting at 154 Euro!!! - there is NO, I repeat NO, Smaug on Bricklink in Germany. Only 16 lots worldwide! - there is ONE Smaug on Ebay Germany, 65 Euro - karstadt.de doesn't have LOTR or the Hobbit Let me phrase it in Latin: Quod the f*ck? Did I miss something? I just went on Holiday for 3 weeks after Christmas and now the only ways to get a Smaug are these? Am I too late? Too early? Quote

Wardancer Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Yes, but who wants to pay full price? I ordered a set for 118 including shipping. I am going to sell off the unwanted parts and just keep Smaug. Anyway, I still cannot understand why there is so little Hobbit Lego on the market here. Quote
