Commander Smith Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 An order from Lego came in today, and I equipped my 42006 with 8293 and put two L-motors controlling the treads. Remote Control will come later. My question is: If you turn a PF motor manually, will that damage it? Quote
Kronos Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I sure hope not! Seriously though, I don't think a slight amount of turning would hurt anything. All of mine work, and they have all been turned at one time or another, I'm sure. Mike Quote
Johnny P Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 They work as generators when turn by external force. When you connect two engines together with the wired, turn one and the other will also turn.or connect to batt box leave the box off and the licht will luminaad when you turn the motor. Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 It should be fine! I always wondered, why does the light turn on? @Johnny P Quote
Johnny P Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Because you create power behind the switch and the light is connected after the switch . Quote
aurly Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 They're designed to be child-proof. Show me a child that doesn't try to turn things (s)he's not supposed to turn! Quote
