i think 2,5 would fit better. with this is a 7 wide driven frontaxle with diff possible. how to steer is a different question

need someone a keychain? it has the same dimensions like a 7 hole beam. so it can be used in models as a design element

Hi efferman,

a part I'd really want to see was a McPherson wheel hub.

Basically a 42000 front wheel hub, but instead of the upper pivot hole there shoud be the opportunity to attach a spring.

Something like a combination of 731c04.gifand 11949.jpg or at least an anchor point for the spring.

To get proper kingpin inclination, the spring should be set up with some angle.

If you're bored, maybe have a try. This would be a fine part.

This would be a great item to make.

The black part of the 'shock' should be joined to the hub and the yellow part should cap with an axle cross hole going vertically. Having it this way allows for custom lengths of the shock.

Or have a axle hole like the big shock on either black or yellow, basically a smaller version of the big shock. Then use a tan/blue axle pin to attach it to the hub.

interesting idea, but for which scale of car? so small as possible like this part for driven frontaxles? (it is for use with the dark gray cv joint part) ore more massive for cars like sheepos masterpieces?

Same dimension as the 42000 hub should be fine. Then it can be used with all existing six holes rims.

The dark grey part with three connectors should fit. The "tightness" of the printed part will eliminate the wobble of the original hub.

the McPherson part. you need the dark grey wheelholder part of 42000 steering hub, the outside and the spring of a big shock absorber to complete it

indeed. this is better than made a left and right part.

Is it possible to move the "Ball" more inside the rim? Maybe one stud more should improve kingpin inclination angle.

it is possible, but i have to rebuilt it complete. have original mcpherson suspension a much higher angle than this above?

No, but real life rims have a different offset, not exacly center like Lego rims.

But anyway, your part is what I was looking for, so I will order two of them :-)

Sorry that i missed it effe. Yes that works as long as the beams align with the top studs like they did with the old turntable.
