Mast base is actually the same piece as the much maligned LEGO Juniors Captain Readbeards Pirate ship. Of which there has been complaints in reviews that the mast base is not very stable.

Welcome new comer!

You also have them already pirate_sing.gifpirate_classic.gif

'Where, oh where have you gotten them?

I will be very dissapointed if it is true that nordic countries can´t get them in march in regular stores, only if ordered online from shop@home

Good thing is that march is double points month so that will make up a little for a higher product price.

Brickset says that the sets will be available from February 1st in some countries.

It would be more appropriate to say that Brickset speculates that the sets will be available form February 1st in some countries.

Given what we know from history and the official March release date I would expect (again speculation) sets to be coming onto the market within February; where they've been released to retailers ahead of the deadline and retailers just stick them on the shelves instead of waiting.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see reviews within the next few weeks; where the Customer Engagement and Events team have send out copies to the main fan sites for review purposes ahead of the official launch.

I'm glad they went with the classic style of torso instead of what they used in 2009. Also looks like they updated the old Redbeard torso!

That was good review, so looking forwards to these sets. The more images and reviews we see, these sets look better and better.

But the minifigures are the best.

Cook is the best

I am most interested to know if the minifigs have back printing. Especially the two female figs in the line... So far the reviews have given me nothing but info I already have.

This is what I want to know as well. Not a big fan of the printed bags from the previous series, the backpack accessories are much better IMO.

These reviews are pretty poor :( The pictures (I find) are kinda small, a few of them blurry. And as Mike S. stated, we have learned nothing new :(

There are, at least, box backside pictures and one can see what are the spare parts for each set. The comparasion picture of sawfish from 70413 shows how better it is than the old one: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Medex/kocke-klub/Pirates2015/70413/dsc01822.jpg.

After seeing the reviews the must haves for me are the Shipwreck island, and Soldiers outpost. Maybe the soldiers fort.........well have to see the price is like.

Regardless, I really want to get my hands on some of the new bluecoats! pirate_classic.gif

Funny thing is that back on September when the first pictures of the sets surfaced online(thanks to j2g)most people where disappointed by the looks of them and I'm one the few who defended the sets. But looking at them now I lost every interest I had for them, might buy the ship but that's it for me.Hopefully the rumored upcoming castle/fantasy theme wont suffer from the juniorization symptom this theme and the 2013 castle theme had.
