how do you buy the promotional set off lego because im loged in and it does not pop up?

If I'm not mistaken the set should be added to your virtual bag/cart once you reach the required amount you need to spend.

Also, I see you're from the USA. So keep in mind that the promotional set isn't available yet in the US, that's next month I believe.

Honestly, the only thing i like about this promo pack is , the old classic Gold Coin.

Rest is not classic and more to modern. They should made it like the Space promo pack where the figure and redt parts are 100% Classic.

The coins are not the classic one!! 10 is the highest number.

Great.....Now they decided to add coins, well that's good because diamonds are overated pirate_sing.gif

I'm glad to see the coins return too. :pir-wub:

Hopefully future Pirate Sets will include coins instead of diamonds.

Hey, but don't forget, diamonds are sparkly pirate_tong.gif

However, it is cool to see the coins back again, and is that a gold bar I see? Maybe they could have a bit of both in future pirates sets. That'd be nice.. pirate_hmpf.gif

LEGO-Classic-Pirates-Booklet-and-Pirate-Hat-640x386.jpg

I just got mine in the mail today, but unfortunately it didn't come wit the second stickers sheet and the cardboard hat.

Not that i'm complaining too much, but do you think I should send a mail to the LEGO shop about this?

If your purchase was done vis official Lego store, then better ask them.

If you bought it from other sources like BrickLink, ...etc then definitely they keep these for their selves

I got it on LEGO’s very own web shop:

http://shop.lego.com/en-DK/?_requestid=258725

So I don’t think that there should be anything weird about that part of it.

Although, looking at the image, it has gotten me wondering, how are those two last things even supposed to fit inside the box that it is sent in?

Admittedly there isn’t anything to really show much of a scale, but both of those two things look like they are too large to fit inside a 10 x 15 cm box. Especially the hat which doesn’t appear to have any sort of folds

I got 4 pcs of the set. Inside was only the instruction, the bricks and 1 paper with stickers. Maybe the rest is only available in the local Lego stores.

The 2nd sticker sheet and pirate hat are not part of the classic set.

Whoever wrote the review here only used the pictures from a review on brickpirate french board here but never had the set in his hands.

It is mentionned on the french review that this 2nd sheet and pirate hat were given with an animation inside the Lego store when the review's author bought the set.

A noter cette année une animation en magasin permettait de gagner ce superbe chapeau de pirate et cette planche d’autocollants pirates ! Super idée.

So don't feel bad if you did not received it or do not try to contact customer service, it is normal pirate_classic.gif

Ok, so my assumption that those two things don’t fit inside the box made sense then.

I’m not disappointed anyways; the bricks are the most important thing to me after all.

Although it could have been fun to bother our cat with the paper hat.

Now I’m curious about what that animation might be though.

are there any rumours about a possible second wave of pirates sets?

Nah, but lots of rumors are pointing that Ninjago will be a mix of Pirates or something next year.
