Hi

I've been thinking of ways to include the Lego Movie sets into my current Lego layout and themes. Most sets/characters are ideal for Town or Superhero/Action Themes. Except Unikitty... How could I make use of a colourful brick built cartoon cat?

Well, my solution was to copy the Cow Parade art projects you see around the world and have Unikitty as a bit of modern art in my town - designed by talented (and slightly mad) artist Mrs Scratchen-Post. But then I realised that one cat is hardly a parade so I've come up with a few more. My "rules" were that each cat should have a 3x1 arch brick body (wish I'd checked colour availability for this part first!!) and a 3 stud wide head. Here's what I've got so far...

Snow Cat

The Ship's Cat

And finally, Stealth Cat (supposed to look like a stealth fighter from above!)

I only planned to make a few but it's got a bit addictive and now I'm seeing cat designs everywhere!!

Currently i'm waiting for more 3x1 arches before stating work on;

Cop Cat

Construction Cat

Fire Cat

Pizza Cat

Postman Cat

K.I.T.T Cat

Pirate Cat

Segway Cat (?!)

The Loch Ness Cat

SuperCat

And whatever else I see that I think would make an interesting cat! (So watch this space.... Oh I could do Space Cat too!)

Anyway thanks for looking... Comments are always welcome.

Cheers

Mrs Scratchen-Post can work fast when she wants to!! It's still a WIP (in fact you can see her Bricklinking blue arches on her laptop!)

Any other ideas for cats are very welcome (no promises though!)

Woah, those are amazing designs, I was working on doing the prince of cloud cuckoo land but didn't have the parts.

Keep up the good work!

These are all great! So full of personality! I especially love Sand Cat and The Ship's Cat!

Some sort of robo-kitty would be cool

My brother made a Robokitty before we even had Uni-Kitty herself!

I like this! It's a nice take on what the LEGO people play with in the movie. I must say, I really like the Sand Cat - it looks really like the original Unikitty and it conveys the spirit of the beach. That, and it looks a bit like Mermaid Man.

That's actually really cool  Loving the chicken walker too

They look all you great. Snow Kitty is good, like that you gave it a stick for a tail also the Top Hat and Carrot are really funny on it. The Sand Kitty is alright love that you put a Sand Bucket on top and the left ear but the Star Fish on the nose is odd but it fit well because it is a Sand Kitty after all. Ship's Kitty (i think it should be called Sailer Kitty) is my favorite and really good, like that you gave it a hat and telescope on the left eye, the color fit really fell. Stealth Cat i just don't like it, making the head different is good but it's really odd to me and the color being all black but the eyes is also not good.

Okay that Robokitty is really cute, love that use of the Boombox.

That Minion Kitty is amazing like that you gave it one eye.

These are fantastic! i can't wait to see what else you come up with, you can make just about anything in unikitty form!
