Righty Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) Hello All! Check my latest MOCs below: Different types of old-timer vehicles. I have built these for the Lego modular buildings, trying to fit to the age and style. Your comments are welcome!:) More images of this car in my Flickr set: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjRhLYVj More images of the yellow bus in my Flickr set: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjRhNGhL And finally another special car: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjRgZF2f Enjoy! Update (22.02.2014.): New arrivals in my old-timer garage! Hey guys! Check out the all-new vehicles to be driven in the streets of Lego Town! This blue car is a real chauffeur-driven exclusive car, which is built to fit the age of the classic lego Town. The passenger (a CEO) is a bit angry because the streets are quite congested and he is late. So finally, he jumps out and takes the luggage out of the car by himself. This guy in green is a lucky owner of the black convertible, with which he gathers a lot of attraction. He does not have to stop by the lady in red (since this is just a one seater) so he just drivers by her. What a day:) Enjoy! Edited February 23, 2014 by Righty Quote
ScotNick Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Very nice models there, excellent designs! Quote
greg3 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Nice classic vehicles!! I think they're both excellent but I especially like the way you've done the bus' bodywork. Looking forward to seeing more!! Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I first thought the car was the coolest of your designs, then I saw the bus......now that's cool and an excellent design - very true to the period of the 1930's-1940's. Brick On Drive On 'Righty' ! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Great pair of vintage cars Righty! My fav would have to be the car, though it is a tough choice Quote
eurotrash Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I'm digging the curves on that car - it looks great! Quote
ER0L Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Great oldtimer cars! I especially love the shaping of the bus and the use of the new 1x2 curved slopes for the front fenders. The smaller car is very nice, too. I've invited all three of them into the Vintage Cars Group on Flickr. Would be glad to have them. Quote
Righty Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 I have never tried that funtion. What does it mean. Will I lost my photos from my sets? Sorry for the question but I m a beginner Quote
ER0L Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 No, you won't lose anything but probably win some clicks or even faves. A photo can be shown in several sets or groups, that doesn't affect the photo as such. But since this is off-topic you may contact me via Flickr if there are any questions left. Quote
L@go Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 These are gorgeous! The rounded shape of the bus is really well done, but for me that vintage roadster is just about perfect. Not a big fan of the covered rear wheels - they make the car a tad too wide for my taste - but apart from that, it's fantastic! Especially that heavy rear, with the long overhang, really looks the part. And an opening boot. I hadn't realised just how perfect the new 1x2 curved slopes work to create a nice, rounded finish to the mudguard, but that's something that I'm definitely going to have to try. Quote
Righty Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 Hey All! I have just updated this topic by adding further cars to the collection. Check it out! Quote
gazumpty Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Beautiful work...simply stunning details. You have really captured the look and the spirit of these vehicles :D Quote
trippybrowneyes Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Very nice curves on the cars. You make it look effortless. Quote
ER0L Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Very nice, looking forward for more to come! They're all to be seen in the Flickr Vintage Car Group, some of them even got blogged. Quote
Savage Kidd Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Does anyone know the email address of the person who created the cars? I am hoping to recreate them as well and needed the instructions. Please help!! My email is afrikankid48@gmail.com, if anyone has any information please contact me through there. Quote
