My grandparents have a scratching post that looks like this, it's made of twine/wicker/whatever wrapped around a relatively springy metal core, and has a pink pom-pom on the end for the cat to play with. It's a fairly common design that, unfortunately, looks phallic when rendered in Lego.

Context is everything, though, when ti comes to what's appropriate or inappropriate. While adults can notice the resemblance, to a little girl it'll just be a scratching post. There's all sorts of things that adults get upset over their kids seeing, but without the knowledge of an adult it's impossible to notice the 'innappropriate' things in the first place.

You seem to have a unique talent for spotting "inappropriateness" in LEGO products that no one else seems to see. :wacko: Anyway, I don't see this discussion going anywhere, so I'm going to lock this thread.
