There is a new LEGO MMO game coming out soon, called LEGO Minifigures Online. It will feature minifigure characters from the various existing series of Minifigures, as well as other LEGO themes. It may also feature a bunch of new minifigures accompanied by their own line of so-called CMFs (a la The LEGO Movie Minifigures, The Simpsons Minifigures, etc.), but I don't think it's known yet for sure.

I'm not sure if you're asking about the rumor of an independent special CMF series? As others mentioned, MMO is a new online game title that features CMF characters. We've known that there would be a regular series this autumn, but we don't know if MMO would be another special series to be made.

As we have mentioned last week, the LEGO Minifigures Online MMO will be out next summer and they will have a special line of minifigures to go along with the game. These minifigures will also include a code to unlock that character digitally. With three waves of minifigures coming out with a a short break in between waves, this pushes Series 12 back until next fall.

If the series is true, my surmise is that it would include the exclusive characters that represent the NPC of MMO world. It could be some original characters, or some returning characters from old Lego themes. Actually, if the NPCs are as cool as the Universe ones (or would they return?) and they'll be physically made, that would be super awesome.

I only played LEGO Universe when it was in beta, so I never saw those two ladies up there, but I would buy the heck out of a CMF line that had figures like those in it.

I'm not sure where to confirm this information, since I was alittle confused by the unclear statement below:

It sounded like "they will have a line of minifigures out next summer", before the coming of regular series 12. But it also seems not.

However, if there won't be any new original character or returng Universe character in the MMO content, there is no need for a special CMF series.

I would buy the heck out of a CMF line that had figures like those in it.
