Duke Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 I own all the hornblower episodes, but there are not many scenes on French ships. But I think I remember one. I'll try to take some screenshots. How do you find it? I quite like it, the music is great *y* Quote
Mosana Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 pictures, words Thanks for all the pictures. The officer I made is based on a google search of "1812 US marine officer uniform" around ten pages down, and I have no idea what rank. These are much better. Thanks! Quote
Norrington Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 In addition to that East India Company marine I requested, I am wondering wether you caould also crate for me, a torso of Phantom Manor's Phantom, but on a black torso. Could you also, in addition to the actual torsos, could you also post them resized, because I'm having trouble doing that. Thanks! Quote
Mosana Posted May 28, 2007 Author Posted May 28, 2007 I'm pretty busy with school at the moment, so I'll get to those when the naval things are finished, which could be a while. Just so you know. Quote
Norrington Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Well, I found a picture of the Marines, but not a very good one: Quote
Mosana Posted May 30, 2007 Author Posted May 30, 2007 To Norrington: For the strange man with the skull, I have him drawn, but what colour should he be? Also: Do you want me to do the officer man in the foreground as well? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted May 30, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted May 30, 2007 There seems to be something wrong with the Russian infantry picture you posted on page 7 of this thread. Quote
Mosana Posted May 30, 2007 Author Posted May 30, 2007 They all work fine for me. Anyway, they're in my BS gallery, which is in my signature. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted May 30, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted May 30, 2007 (edited) I just spend 1 hour putting all the latest torso's in the library. Let me know if you notice any mistakes on my part. To Norrington:For the strange man with the skull, I have him drawn, but what colour should he be? Also: How do I categorize this one? Edited May 30, 2007 by bonaparte Quote
Fordo Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Since its POTC the Royal navy uniform I'd say It should go in the Royal Navy or POTC category. Quote
Mosana Posted May 30, 2007 Author Posted May 30, 2007 As I haven't seen any of the films, I can't help you there. Quote
Mosana Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 US Marine Lietentant: To ZCerberus: It would help me if you could tell me specifically what ranks you want. Quote
Norrington Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 (edited) To Norrington:For the strange man with the skull, I have him drawn, but what colour should he be? Also: Do you want me to do the officer man in the foreground as well? The Phantom (skull man) should be the original purple trim in the photo but on a black torso. Norrington as an Admiral would also be appreciated. How do I categorize this one? I'd catergorize it under Royal Navy as "East India Co. Marine" Edited May 31, 2007 by Norrington Quote
Fordo Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Here's a clearer picture of Norrington in his Admiral Uniform, Quote
Capn Frank Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 US Marine Lietentant: To ZCerberus: It would help me if you could tell me specifically what ranks you want. Thanks a lot Mosana! This is really helpful in making my USS Constitution crew look more realistic when i start constructing it. P Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 1, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 1, 2007 Skull man: Maybe Mr. Norrington can tell me how to catalogue this one? Is this also from POTC? Btw, I like this design Mosana! Quote
Norrington Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) Maybe Mr. Norrington can tell me how to catalogue this one?Is this also from POTC? Btw, I like this design Mosana! No, he's not from PotC, he's not even Pirates! For those of you who have been to DisneyLand Paris, the Disney Exec.s didn't want carbon copies of classic Disney Rides, so they spiced it up a little. Like the PotC ride for DLP, the Haunted Mansion attraction was also spiced up, and was given an actual story. It centers around a bride named Melanie Ravenswood, who's father haunts their mansion, tormenting Melanie. Henry, the father, manifested himself as "The Phantom", as seen above. Not sure how to catergorize this one, but I'd put it in 'other'. Edit: Not be a party-pooper, but I just noticed that the Phantom torso was missing his cloak-clasps and his buttons. Mosana had the buttons, but they were black and didn't show up. So, here is my edited version: Edited June 2, 2007 by Norrington Quote
Mosana Posted June 2, 2007 Author Posted June 2, 2007 Ah. I kept the cloak chain off because it was part of the cloak and not the body, but you can add it on if you wish. Also, changing the button colour is a good idea. Quote
Mosana Posted June 2, 2007 Author Posted June 2, 2007 (edited) Thanks to Norrington's version of the East India Company soldier, I can see what the seal on their crossbelts looks like (I left if off because I did not know), and I have amended the torso accordingly. EDIT: the facings have now been adjusted slightly. Edited June 2, 2007 by Mosana Quote
