February 1, 201411 yr Wow. Thats a nice B model. It does need a few modifications but I think, I have to get the Volvo twice :-)
February 1, 201411 yr Should need one more rear axel... do you think is pendular in the steering point?
February 1, 201411 yr This model is growing on me. The green I6 engine is great, and I believe this it the first time LEGO has done an I6 engine in a model. Nice to see a pendular axle as well!
February 1, 201411 yr The alternative model is a big plus, I think. I like it, despite the odd proportions due to the missing third axle. But the Unimog didn't have a full alternate, so it's a definite improvement over that.
February 1, 201411 yr Me likes. Yeah the dumper does look odd but at least it is a new model and not just some small change like 8110. BTW i wonder where the third LA went? Used for steering perhaps.
February 1, 201411 yr Hauler Needs some extra panels. TLG dump trucks are too often lame and have open dump bodies. @ed-orange - you have to buy three - the extra one gives you the parts to add a third axle and create an A30F. http://www.volvoce.com/dealers/en-gb/vcegb/products/articulatedhaulers/A25F_A30F/Pages/featuresandbenefits.aspx

February 1, 201411 yr Yep, I'm liking the B model better than the main model. Stick a few panels in the load area and another axle on and it'd be spot on.
February 1, 201411 yr Cool, that articulated hauler B-model is pretty much what I suggested a couple of days ago! Is it maybe the exact same vehicle? A little difficult to make out from this angle...
February 1, 201411 yr Now I am interested in this set. A Model is alright, B Model looks great, although it is missing a third axle. But we can't have everything. Happy enough to see TWO licensed models in one set!
February 1, 201411 yr It doesn't need a third axle. Volvo make a single axle version. Edit. The box says A25F which means it should have a double rear axle. Why would they call it a A25f if it only has one axle. http://www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=1019 Edited February 1, 201411 yr by davidmull
February 1, 201411 yr Guys, If you want dual rear axles, just build Designer_Hans' Volvo Hauler. ( This 'B' model is just a smaller version of the Volvo equipment like Hans' MOC ) I would mod the B model to look much better than Lego did with it, like D3Ks' picture above. I especially like the new bucket, how many studs across is this new piece?
February 1, 201411 yr The box states very clearly A25F, but the model is a spitting image for this A25E http://www.favcars.c...-2008-11-154813 (There's maybe a two axle version of the A25F - all pictures I found were three axle). Edited February 1, 201411 yr by andythenorth

I can't find a 2 axle a25f. It's obviously a mistake on the box. Could they mess up something so obvious.
February 1, 201411 yr I dont know but I actually see this model interesting .Last videos looks superb and steering is fixed.I must wait to more videos and decided to buy or not this beast!
February 1, 201411 yr Hauler Actually Volvo does use the word dumper several times in the text. But you are right about hauler being the correct english word. I forgot and used the swedish word which is dumper.
February 1, 201411 yr B model is really nice, but ( always, But, I know ) I hate when they do non solid wall construction like that. It does make it unusable for playing too...
February 1, 201411 yr The real A25F has 3 axles, so what a fail. edit: mh, no Edited February 1, 201411 yr by Timoonn
February 1, 201411 yr Some more info and data sheets for those that are interested. I recommend the one called transport solutions. It has info on the various configurations that the A25E can have, among them 6 wheels and even an extended chassis. Edit Oops was in a bit of a rush and forgot the link. http://www.volvoce.com/constructionequipment/corporate/en-gb/AboutUs/history/products/articulated%20haulers/Articulated%20Haulers%20Volvo/pages/Volvo%20A25E.aspx Edited February 1, 201411 yr by EyesOnly
