I couldn't find any pictures, and Volvo's brochures do not mention a 4x4 A25F. Would be curious to see a picture of it, then we can put this 'debate' to rest.

I agree i could not find any pictures at all. For a licensed set it's a major slip up i think!

If those pictures are on the net, they certainly are very hard to find, therefore that machine is either really rare, or non existing.

In either case, it would be more logical for LEGO to make a more known and documented model of Volvo 4x4 hauler, especially if the model is licensed.

I am 100% sure that I found pics of the A25F with 4 wheels, but now I can't find any... :sceptic: maybe someone should try contacting TLG and ask about this, if it hasn't been done. Maybe it's a mistake.

Or, maybe Volvo will introduce a 4x4 version of the A25F later this year, maybe around the release of 42030, and that's why TLG have done this.

Anyone know how this will perform off road ? Is it driven by 2 or 1 XLs?

Something I forgot to ask but what motor does what?

one xl for drive, one servo for steering, one L for lifting the bucket, one M for tilt the bucket

Will 1 xl not be hard on the drive train? It is 4x4 I take it?

I am really looking forward to the parts list of this model.

Apart from the green engine and the new bucket I suspect that it can easily be build from your own parts if you already own 8265, 8275 and 42009.

Or are there a lot of new parts included in this model?

Green engine pieces, yellow hubs, bucket. That's all the new parts I've spotted so far. Probably also uses some of the new pieces introduced this year, such at the 5L axle with stop, dog bone frame, etc.

Hoi

I also try to vind pic's of a 2 axel A25F but all the pic's are whit 3 axels.

The set on itself looks nice but not that i say jee going to bay it.

Price / part ratio is a bit high.

Hi Muddy,

So you finally made it to Eurobricks, welcome! Seen lots of your work on Facebook, so I know we are in for a treat! :sweet:

As far as I can tell there hasn't been one unless they are releasing one soon. Only the A25E and A25D in 4 x 4. Hopefully it has a decent R/C steering system on it.

Maybe its a typo or a misunderstanding? Technic believed that "F" series existed for the dumper only because the wheel loaders does.

I stand by my earlier hypothesis: the A25E is EOL and Volvo did not want an outdated model referenced, the missing axle is taken for granted.

Funny how no one at Volvo has said anything about it, i mean even their own press statement says F. :hmpf_bad: I guess proof reading isn't Volvo's strong suit. Or as others have said, an F with 2 axles really are in the works, for Volvo's sake i sure hope so.

I'm not sure i get ur point? And what is eol?

He probably means "end of line" - A25E going out of production and replaced by a new A25F, which could explain the presumed mistake.

Four big wheels, yellow parts, LA's and a Volvo license..

Could this be the B-model?

Or does Volvo make something like this:

dump_truck.jpg

?

Ideally it would include an extra pair of wheels and heaps of yellow 5x11 panels as spare parts, and the B-model could be pretty close to Designer-Han's dump truck!

Well, they actually do! (in smaller versions, but the euclid series are full size) look http://www.volvoce.com/constructionequipment/corporate/en-gb/AboutUs/history/products/Rigid%20haulers/pages/introduction.aspx
