EXO-CHAMP Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Just picked up two new Exo-Force promotionals. 3870 Takeshi Exo-suit 3871 Ha-Ya-To Exo-suit Both have 07 uniforms... I'll do a little review later today... Quote
Brainbox Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 The Ha-Ya-To one definately looks better than the Takeshi one. And it's a good way to get Ha-Ya-To without having to buy Golden Guardian. Quote
xenologer Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I'm suddenly incredibly envious. That magazine is as far as I know, for Denmark only.... They look like great parts packs, especially Hayato's, with those oldschool jet engines. Quote
exo attack Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I agree. I will ahve to see if I can get these on E-bay. Champ, Is it okay if I use that pic for news on my Exo Forec forum? I will give credit to you. Can you get any closer Pics. Please? Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 Sure you can... I'm curently searching for my camera powercabel.. It seems to have gone missing... More pics soon... Quote
exo attack Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Thanks., I can give you a link to my EF site if you want. ;) EDIT: nevermind. Just look at my sig. ;) Quote
Brainbox Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Thanks., I can give you a link to my EF site if you want. ;) Go on then. You know you want to... EDIT: This isn't sarcasm. Exo attack, you know what I mean. ;-) And I now see that the link was in your sig. Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 Well. My powercable has gone missing so I'm using an inferior camera. So sorry about the poor quality... Takeshi (3870) This Exo-suit is quite different than the others. The pilot is protected by a windshield and is sitting down. The legs also both have hip and ancle artikulation. Ha-Ya-To (3871) Ha-Ya-To's Exo-suit is a flight suit build more or less like the 06 models. It does have nice pieces like jet engines and the Ha-Ya-To mini-fig. This Exo-suit is a bit too colourfull for my taste though. Quote
xenologer Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 This Exo-suit is a bit too colourfull for my taste though. :-D n/m the suit, I think Ha'ya'to is a bit too colourful for my tastes. How'd they attach the green cones to the engines btw? is that the 3stud technic rod with stopper stud? -always want more of them- or are the cones just stuck onto the end of a normal + rod? Takeshi's suit seems a little too armless. But I'd bet that you could mod his large mecha from this year to hold this mini suit as an 'ejector seat mech'(replaces the cockpit); that might be pretty cool. Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 or are the cones just stuck onto the end of a normal + rod? Yep. That's how it's done... Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I like the Ha-ya-to one... -ZotS Quote
iamded Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Haha! Those two sets would be cool little additions to your exo-army. Quote
jeffrey Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I like the Takashi one as the design is new to me and among exo-force series 8- Quote
Brainbox Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 The legs for Takeshi's are good, as is the cockpit shield. But the weapons just look a bit odd. And the lack of controls makes it look a bit like Takeshi is just sat on there trying to wish it in the right direction. Ha-Ya-To's on the other hand is nice, if a little colourful. Quote
zero1312 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I would like this in normal stores. Agreed!!!! *y* Quote
iamded Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 I would like this in normal stores. That would be cool. Then you could buy heaps of them. Maybe thats why they don't sell them in stalls. People would buy too much of them. :-/ Quote
DJ Force Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 That would be cool. Then you could buy heaps of them. Maybe thats why they don't sell them in stalls. People would buy too much of them. :-/ Doesn Quote
DJ Force Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I believe it's a 1x2 brick with 2 technic holes, with a #1 technic pin with stud (the piece that holds the minifig wrench on top of the Grand Titan) in each hole. Might be. But those pieces have open studs on top, if I am right. And on the pic it looks like the studs above are solid. Quote
Starwars4J Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Might be. But those pieces have open studs on top, if I am right. And on the pic it looks like the studs above are solid. From the picture, my best guess would be two 1x1 headlight bricks Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 You know, if you've seen Ryo's walker, it looks a lot like Hikaru's flyer from last year. -ZotS Quote
