fonz Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Hi there, this is my latest Moc....the Butcher aka The PorkChop Shop,i made for the Lowlug MMM competition...you found the rest overhere http://www.flickr.com/photos/40348469@N05/ Quote
Captain Settle Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Wow, I love this MOC! The roof is great, and the blood in the alley is a fantastic detail. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 AWESOME modular design 'fonz', I totally dig the butchers shop floor and that truck ......but besides that......is that Chickenman running away there ? Brick On 'fonz' ! Quote
sin Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Loads of nice details in this! I like your steep roofline, and the spears used to make a fence looks very convincing. Your MOC makes me anxious for the 1x4 masonry profile bricks to come out, it's a shame to have seems running straight up the walls the way it does. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Wow, this is amazing. First off, the exterior, I love the way you have the two left windows "face" each other directly. I am also completely fascinated with the roof. The Chimney puffing smoke, the bricks placed in pattern, and the balcony also looks very symmetrical. The coloring of the flags was also brilliant, normally people choose the colors for their MOC's very well, and they very rarely get acknowledged for it. I would hate to see a MOC with awkward colors, and the gold flag on the brown (not great with colors here, but still like this work) wall, it all looks so good together, kudos for that. Also, the build itself looks to be of the standard of regular Lego sets, good job! And as for the interior, things look almost like their not even connected, are they/ You didn't give much images of the interior, but it would appear not much is connected to the floor. And contrary to most, you paid very much attention to the back of the shop, so good job and brick on! Quote
KringlesBricks Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Absolutely amazing!! I love every detail that went into this! The truck has to be my favorite along with the amazing detail with the architecture of the building. The colors work real well with each other, and the small accessories and figures help add to the character of the building  Quote
trippybrowneyes Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I love the roof, the thorny flower patch in back, and the use of wood plank tiles in the interior is great. I think you forgot to switch out the hands on the female butcher though? Quote
Hrafnblod Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I'm extremely jealous of all your masonry bricks. It's almost like cheating, they make everything look better! This is a great MOC. Quote
eurotrash Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Superb! Really well done with plenty of detail to enjoy. Thanks for sharing it with us! Quote
jonwil Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 This is an amazing creation, you got a lot of details in there. Quote
HDHell Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I love the details in the backyard, especially the escape of the chicken man. So great! The use of the head of the Minotaurus is a good idea. Quote
francismatteo Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Great design and very detailed exterior and interior. Truly EPIC!!! Quote
greg3 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Excellent build! I love the overall look of the building, great use of colour especially in the roof and the interior and exterior details finish it off perfectly (I especially like the slaughterhouse bit!) Nice work! Quote
locoworks Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) I'm extremely jealous of all your masonry bricks. It's almost like cheating, they make everything look better! This is a great MOC. close inspection of the pillar between the 2 centre windows second floor under the 4 flowerpots looks like bricks have been painted?? grey mortar on the horizontals but not the verticals??? fonz Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Thank you all for the loving words! and no! locoworks...i don't paint bricks, why should i? Quote
Doom2099 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Very nice work! Great colors, and a very nice unified theme. Thanks for sharing! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 What a great shop! I like the roof ...very nice building technique! Quote
Wodanis Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Really loving the flavour of the building and the pushed out back wall, not to mention the tunnel. The interior tiles are a nice touch. Definitely a lot of nice details with your MOC. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Amazing detail! I like all the blood in the back, keep up the good work! Quote
L@go Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 This is one of the most interesting modulars I've seen in a while. The colours are great, that roof is beautiful (especially since you've used different colours on the roof tiles) and your attention to detail leaves nothing to be desired. Great work! Quote
XeniK Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Nice interior.. Also the roof is very nicely done. Quote
LEGOsmile Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Really nice work! I love your choice of color and the whole design inside/outside. The wooden stairs and the table really adds a nice atmosphere to the shop too. Quote
