Lego Junkie Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 After seeing the multitudes of large scale Uni-kitty's at the advanced premieres of The Lego Movie, the lack of Angry Kitty was a bit disappointing to me. So, that problem is now rectified, and I have a large Angry Kitty on my shelf. Angry Uni-kitty. by Lego Junkie., on Flickr Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 WOW! She looks like she's smiling, but this is awesome! Maybe you can do the other 3 that haven't been done? -Sci Quote
TheWarden Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I clicked this thinking there was no way it was going to be accurate, but this exceeds all expectations! Nicely done. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 What a great MOC! is it all Lego though? The eyes seem like actual teddy bear eyes, I do have a tendency to see all sorts of things though, so don't feel offended if I'm, wrong. Great job with the build, have out checked out Melan-E's Uni-Kitty MOC? It (as well as this) is all sorts of awesome! Though the teeth could be placed lower, it's the only thing I'm not really into about this MOC. Quote

Red 4x4 dish, then a black 2x2 boat plate, all layered to the result you see here. Melan-E's Unikitty is actually the reason I built this one. I was totally jealous and wanted one for my shelf. I agree on the teeth statement, the more I look at the picture, the more they bug me. But ah well, it's workable. Thanks all! Glad you guys are enjoying it! bekindsorewind Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Well, Angry Kitty is coming out this summer, but I understand the excitement. Great work; she looks even more evil than her official figure. Quote
Lego Otaku Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 /nitpick you're missing one stud on the kitty's back. There should be one between the neck and the tail. kidding aside, that's a great one! I may need to build myself a giant uni-kitty Quote

There should be one between the neck and the tail. kidding aside, that's a great one! I may need to build myself a giant uni-kitty That's the one thing I just couldn't build. I don't have any 1x2 curved slopes, or 4x4 radar dishes to play a stud. So creative license took over on this, and I went without the stud. Quote
Ardelon Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Really neat and unbelievably accurate! Couldnt you build the stud like you built the neck piece, just smaller? Quote

DraikNova Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) Lovely work. It looks kind of scary, actually. Much more so than the minifig . we need unikitty emoticons by the way Agreed; I've already found as situation where an "UNIKITTY SMASH" emoticon would be appopriate. TheBrickPal Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Scary, but awesome! Beautiful construction, I love those the eyes. I just wish there was an extra stud on her back. This makes me excited to get the figure in the summer! Quote
