Gideon Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) I think that their idea is that someone will click the links by mistake, which unfortunately is all too easy with clumsy fingers on a smartphone screen... Unfortunately I havn't found a way to report posts when using the mobile site. Edited February 7, 2014 by Gideon Quote
Alfadas Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) I can report them if you wish, I am on a laptop? These post Mods won't see as easy as new threads. Edit: Ok, reported. Edited February 7, 2014 by Alfadas Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 There's no need to go off-topic when a spambot invades. Just report it and a staff member will deal with it. The new-member filters and precautions the admins have set up prevent most of the spamming, but spambots are constantly improving and there are times when a few get through. It takes about 5 seconds for a staff member to get rid of them when this happens. We just need to be made aware of them with a report. Quote

de Gothia Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 The small dk grey plates in the walls just adds so much to the whole moc! The height of the tower and walls are really impressive! Wish I could have completed my castle for de Gothia now when I see this! And of course, that bridge is just eye candy!!! Quote
kabel Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 This is really killing me! Those angles, the brigde, the landscaping, everything about this is just so beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest! Quote

I hope I've inspired you to actually complete a castle for your sigfig. Just don't do it in 1½ months as I did with this...my wife is usually very supportive of my Lego hobby (much more appreciated than playing video games for example) but the last couple of crunchtime weeks before the Norrköping exhibition was really taxing on my Lego approval This is really killing me! Those angles, the brigde, the landscaping, everything about this is just so beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest! Thanks Kabel! All modules are up by themselves now, go check them out if you wish Still got some editing to do before I post the pictures of the whole castle, but I think you've seen one of them already? That's simpl impressive  I love it Thanks Wedge! Quote

Funny how much similarity there is between different AFOLs lives. Quote
Gideon Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Wow, this echos my life exactly from right before the end of the 2.1 challenge (Book 2, Chapter 1) when I was finishing my church build. Funny how much similarity there is between different AFOLs lives. I had a smaller crunchtime close to the deadline of the first challenge of book II as well, as most of my potential building time during the holidays was spent at my parents and my in-laws, and the week after the new year I was supposed to spend on building lego home improvement was instead spent mostly in the couch being sick... So the last weekend before the challenge deadline I had to finish 2 1/2 challenge builds Edited February 11, 2014 by Gideon Quote
MKJoshA Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 @Gideon: Other people just can't understand the challenges we AFOLs go through! Quote
