Gideon Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Great job with this, we are not seeing nearly enough elven builds in GoH. It gives me a certain Rivendell feeling, while still being firmly Avalonian. Many nice details there as well, favorites of mine are the little grey brick-built dome and the excellent bridge UoP +1 for all the credits (even though I would have liked to see a better picture of the sideways rocks I can forgive you for that because of the general awesomeness of the whole build ) A minor presentation remark from me as well: I think you should chose one of each picture from each angle to make public on flickr. The photostream gets a bit slow to navigate and the attention a great picture could have gotten is diminished if it has to be shared with 3-4 nearly identical pictures. Quote
mpoh98 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Wow, fantastic work Carson! I love it, the detail is very nice! I really like how peaceful it seems, as it is an elven place. Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Love it! Can I give +2 for each credit? How long will you keep it together, 'cause I can never take stuff apart. Quote

Yeah, they were kinda buried in trees... And I just cleaned it up. Just marvelous. Do I see Hydronaut hoses used as tree trunks? Yup! This is my favorite build from you yet. The elvish architecture is excellent and the buildings are nicely integrated into the landscape My two favorite parts are: the large tower, great roof and windows there and the bridge to it. The swan is a great touch too Thanks dude! The plates were a life saver! I still ran out though... Sorry! Somehow I thought there were only three... +1 for the fourth one two! No biggy! The first castle-like elven tower I've seen and it looks awesome! I'm also a fan of the rockwork. Most of the times I hate the colour etc. of waterfalls but this one fits right in. Glad you like it! Really great, I always love the elvish look of white buildings! So many little things that make it interesting. Wow, this is great. Love it -- very elvish. Lots of great details throughout. +1 on all the UoP subjects This is for sure great!! I love the scene you have put up! The details and the architecture fits perfect for the elves! My only nitpick is for the presentation. I think that the small text under all of the photos (Elven Build 117 by Carson Haupt, on Flickr) should be removed. The presentation gets much smoother and cleaner.. Fixed. Thanks! The sheer complexity of this thing is really amazing. So many things to look at. And of course, I really dig those sideways rocks!! Thanks man! I love the waterfall, do you do an underlay of bricks like in DC's guide? The slender tower is definitely the winner for me though, I don't know what it is but it just nails the elvish look Yes. Yes I did. Quote
