imvanya Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) It's been a while since I last posted, but here's something I built some time ago. It's a 4x4 for desert races like Dakar, to me it reminds a Schlesser-Renault buggy. It is painted in traditional Octan colors and fits (just barely - no hairpieces or hats) a minifig. Here's an .lxf and here are the pictures: Edited June 10, 2020 by imvanya Quote
Zed_43 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Nice 4x4!!! You're ready for the Paris-Dakar... in Argentina! lol... This would be better if a helmet would fit on the minifigure's head. Maybe you can make a chassis getting lower in the center of the car. This is a great job. It looks really nice and realistic! Quote

Maybe you can make a chassis getting lower in the center of the car. That's the problem - the bottom of the car would become too low and it wouldn't look anything like an off-road vehicle. The other option is raising the roof which is much easier, but I wanted to experiment with the windshield and that is why the roof turned out so low. Thanks for your comment and suggestion, 'Zed_43'!
