Nyx smiles happily as she listens to Ellaria being tough.

"Ok, so it sounds like a fireball isn't going to sort the door out, but it might just do something with the old window. I'm not great at climbing in these heels, although I'm not too bad. Let me try something first, I have to try to blow something up."

Nyx stands back a smidge to get the angle right and aims a fireball directly at the window from where she stands on the ground, figuring that either the window will blow out or it'll attract the attention of the denizens within.

Nyx spends an ether throws a fireball at the window. It explodes at the window with big combination of sound, smoke and heat. Nothing particularly interesting happens. The grating seems to be slightly more unhinged than it was before. One thing is certain. Any people that are inside are now SURE to know that they are coming.

"Well, now we just have to act fast." Boomingham turns to Atramor. "It's you or me, boy. Skrall, lift that ladder onto your back, get it as close as you can." Boomingham sips on a mead for comfort and strength and then begins to climb the ladder. Once at the top, he assesses how close he is to the window - can he reach it and haul himself up?

Atramor shook his head, following Boomingham up the ladder, leaving McCafferey to perch on one of the many wooden plugs sticking out of the building.

"Careful not to bust a hip. I could use a heal, too, I doubt they'll let us open the door just like that."

Atramor and Boomingham can just make it on top of the ridge by the window. They can touch the grating, and possibly pull it away and go in, but once they do, there is no going back. What do Boomingham and Atramor do?

Skrall holds the ladder up and lets the other heroes clamber over him.

Once they've gained access to the top of the window he mentions, "Perhaps a smoke bomb or two to cover yer entrance?"

"Seems this whole city does." Boomingham catches the smoke bomb and wheels his arms frantically, trying to keep his balance. Once Ellaria heals them, he leads the way inside.

"Oh, we should probably have taken a restorative nap back at the safehouse, but I didn't realize you were so severely injured. You hide it so well", Ellaria quips as she heals both Boomingham and Atramor.

Nyx spends an ether throws a fireball at the window, nothing particularly interesting happens EXCEPT a big explosion of sound, smoke and heat. Nyx grins away, a slightly glazed expression taking effect. She sighs contentedly.

"Well I feel a whole lot better." she focuses on the climbing figures and calls up to them "Hey guys, don't forget to open the door when you get in there."

Boomingham jumps down. Unto what seems like the second floor of the building. His eyes start to adapt to the sudden darkness he finds himself in... As Atramor jumps in too! The floor cracks, and a moment later, both heroes crash through the floor. Before they can get to their senses, they hear a snigger, and then a female voice:

Atramor stands with a grimace, pulling off his hat and shaking the sawdust and splinters out of it before stuffing it back on his head.

"Thanks. I try to leave a lasting first impression."

He then adjusts the sleeve of his coat before pulling a Smoke Bomb out of it, dropping it and kicking it right towards the Wolfgang ballista...gunner...guy.

Atramor's smokebomb fills the room with smoke, and fireballs, bolts and arrows start to fly in Atramor and Boomingham's direction. Likely they have a short amount of time before the smoke clears through the crack in the ceiling the two heroes went through. They see they are standing in front of the door of the warehouse. If they want to let their friends in, this is likely their best time.

Atramor wheels around now that there's cover from the storm of projectiles flying his and Boomingham's direction, opening the door as quick as he can.

Everyone please check if your inventories are correct.

Atramor, with Boomingham's help, manages to quickly pull off the heavy bar that blocked the door from opening. Quickly they slide the door open, and let the rest of the party in. With the door open, the smoke quickly disappears, and everyone sees what they're up against. The enemies have built up some kind of barricade, they will have to fight through the enemies, if the heroes want to get past.
