"Tell me how that is, Atramor," says Boomingham before spying Purple and slinking his way over. He puts his hand over his eyes in an attempt to block the overwhelming sun.

"Howdy, chappo. How's the sparring going today? That fellow in the blue - I think I met him last time I was here. He's one of the Vizeir's sons, right?"

Atramor slides a pouch of 25 gold across the counter for a Red Bastard.

"Here you go, lad. If you want to add some spice to that, you can find herbs growing in the courtyard"

The bartender pours from a clear bottle in a bronze cup, then from a red bottle. The liquid inside is red, and slightly bubbling. Does Atramor want to drink?

The bartender shouts something in Strivvian to one of the serving girls, which quickly brings Ellaria a plate of food:

Meanwhile the Bartender poured Ellaria a glass of Ambrosia and received 55 gold from her.

"We will sit here, then. Do you happen to know why the bar changed it's name from Green to Blue, Mortimer?"

"Well, I doubt it is anything official, but there's some blue flags hanging around and Macros, the son of the viscount whose followers like to wear blue, is here."

"Viscount you mean. Macros. Yes. I'm not here for the sparring. I've seen you've been succesful in rescuing Mortimer? Good."

OoC: We rescued Mortimor.

"Yes." Boomingham gestures to the guard at the bar. "Didn't know that the guards were all friendly with the Daymaster. Would have been nice for you to let us know. Are they all corrupt, or only some?" Boomingham looks down at his pockets. "Buy you a drink?" Boomingham flicks his hand, beckoning the man who guarded the door. "You, have a drink with us. And I never did catch your name."

OoC: We rescued Mortimor.

Look. You rescued some guy.:tongue:

Atramor drains the cup, and instantly feels drunks, the drink tasted like a sweet punch with a lot of alcohol, but alternating hot and cold as it goes down, his stats are affected. He won't know what it did until battle however.

"You mean the army? The army has a deal with the Wolfgang?! Hmrpf, that explains some things. I went to a higher up for help in my investigations once. I should have known better. I... I'll take a drink. If it's on you."

"Russus Tunicum at your service! I'll gladly drink with you!"

"Wonderful, follow me, Purple, Russus" Boomingham smiles as he navigates towards the bar. He whacks Atramor on the back. "How'd it go down, boy-o? Is the drink worth it, do you think?" Boomingham turns non-cholantly to the bartender: "Three meads, if you please, chap."

Atramor shook his head, setting down the glass.

"Plenty of kick. Too sweet, though...reminds me of those damn Flamin' Gumballs. Couldn't tell ya' if it's worth it or not. Guess we'll find out."

Ellaria scoffs as he sees the men wander off on their own. Skrall and Nyx still remained with Mortimer sitting at the courtyard, though. A waitress brought a tray of food to Ellaria, and she quickly dug in, not having realized how hungry she was before this.

"Uh, you wfant shome tfoo?" she asked her companions with her mouth full after seeing the looks on their faces.

She washed the food down with some ambrosia, and then turned back to Mortimer, explaining him everything. "So yes, we have the Keystone in our possession. Now, do you have any idea where these Wolfgang 'round-the-clock-masters are keeping their headquarters? Or should we just lure them to the vault and do a big showdown there? Any thoughts?"

She wiped her fingers and wrote more notes to her booklet.

TO-DO LIST:

1. Talk to Purple and the other infiltrators. Found Purple, Roman dead, Zoe incapacitated (?)

2. Locate the Strivvian branch of the Wolfgang and take out its leader, calling himself the Nightmaster. There's also a Daymaster, and they are in cahoots with Captain Gwyar of the Strivvian Army.

3. Discover what happened to the missing guards.

4. Find Mortimer and learn the location of the vault that the Keystone opens. Rescued Mortimer, who indeed knows where the vault is. Still unsure whether the vault should be opened in the first place.

5. Take out the treacherous Captain Lorenzo el Diablo and recover the stolen ship, the Armoury, if we can.

"Hm, flaming gumballs. That's the true drink of a hero, boy, so watch your mouth." Boomingham glances over his shoulder at Nyx, standing in the sunlight with the Ogre and Ellaria.

"Well, rum's the true drink of me. None of this fruity sugary crap..."

Atramor slid 10 coins across the counter, glancing over at the bartender.

"I'd also like a bit of information, if ya' don't mind...any chance you've heard of a Captain Loz Reno Eldi Pablo 'round here? Or maybe some sailors that might be workin' for him? Man himself is a greasy bastard, crappy moustache, blue outfit, hat almost as badass as mine. He might have a few ex-paladins as his lackeys."

Nyx scowls at Atramor, not that he notices, and moves towards the bar herself.

"Hm, flaming gumballs. That's the true drink of a hero, boy, so watch your mouth."

"Indeed, Blackhood." and a little softer, after, with a small smile "Thank you."

Nyx turns and attracts the barman's attention. "Hi there, could you tell me what a Wizard's Ipsum is? I think I might like one."

Whilst waiting for a reply Nyx turns to Russus, speaking in a low voice so only he can hear "So, Russus, I'm Lyssa. If you're going to be part of our gang, you can tell us everything you know about the Daymaster, the Nightmaster and the Wolfgang. Please."

The bartender takes Atramor's gold...

"Never heard of him." The bartender repeats the question to both serving girls, who shrug. "Sorry lad, perhaps you've more luck with information I already have." The bartender then pours Skrall and Boomingham their drinks, and answers Nyx' question: "Half Tonic, half Firewater. It goes well with our special of the day."

"Don't know much, I was always paid by the ginger guy in the Wolf-outfit. You probably killed him. I think the Daymaster was his boss. I always guarded doors. I could show you the doors I was guarding lately, if you'd think it'll help you. Working for the Wolfgang is much less exciting than you'd think."

"Hm, that could actually be pretty useful," Boomingham says to Russus. "Good thing you've got that head on your shoulders, Nyx. Do enough thinking for both me and you."

"I already paid you for some damn information, which you failed to deliver. This is gonna make up for it," snapped Atramor intimidatingly, getting impatient.

Boomingham turns towards the bartender, adding his own diplomacy to Atramor's more severe methods: "You don't want to mess with my friend here. I think we'd all be happier if you just made good on that gold he gave you. Trust me, he doesn't part with his gold freely happily. I've seen him kill more than one rat in his day." Boomingham chuckles kindly "Besides, if we like what we hear, we may shell out for some more."

"I can not answer what I do not know. My trade is information, and drinks. Don't you think it's unwise to try and intimate the man provides these things to you? A drink may become poison, truth may turn into lie." The barkeeper answers, seemingly unfazed by Atramor's intimidation.

The man turns to Boomingham. "And now threats are added to the man's aggresive posture. You may coat your words in honey but the sting is still there. I must caution you against doing such a thing. You would find that a simple bartender has access to a lot of help in his time of need. I suggest you start being more polite. Otherwise I have of a mind to notice that you people have maybe had too much to drink and need to go home."

People all around the bar are starting to look at Atramor and Boomingham.

"It seems that you did. It is your own true mistake for handing this simple man a question and gold without knowing the proper etiquette. But, my friend, let me give you some advice, free of charge. I am lucky to count a great many people as my friends, and my friends tell me things. Now I have not heard of this man you speak about, this means that this man, which you are clearly trying to find, is not in Strivvi, or is taking great measures to prevent his presence. Are you still unhappy with your purchase?"
