Posted February 8, 201411 yr Hey! A few weeks ago i saw Sariels programmable drummer and I really liked the idea. So I started to build my own version and also added the Makey Makey again for sending MIDI signals to my pc triggering the drum sounds. So take a look and tell me what you think! video: Edited February 8, 201411 yr by Fissl
February 12, 201411 yr Sweet! Really good job with the model, programming and using MIDI! Do you think it would be possible to make it longer? I was waiting for it to kick it up a notch.

Right now the track for the code is pretty short (16 elemts) so i can code only one 4/4 bar, which repeats continously. But I'm planning to build a bigger version with 64 track elements what makes it possible to play 4 bars ;)
October 23, 201410 yr While honeymooning in New Zealand, a few years ago, we stopped by this huge old transport/toy/collectable museum.. http://www.wanakatra...dtoymuseum.com/ There was a bunch of old lego sets, and a few ex-promotional dioramas... including this mechanical Technic Guitar player Always been meaning to post it up, but always forgot! Not 100% Lego, as it has some metal connecting rods - presumably so he could play for many years, without worry of plastic wearing out. Press the button, and he plays for a little bit! The place was amazing, but not everything was in spotless condition - large sheds/hangars had a lot of dust over items.. even those in glass display cases
